On Thursday, August 22nd, the actress who was previously known for her roles in EastEnders and Loose Women shared on Instagram that her husband has chosen to part ways with her, marking the end of their almost twenty-year long marriage.
After careful contemplation and reflection, Jack made the decision that it would be most suitable for us to part ways following 18 years side by side. In agreement with this choice, she posted on her Instagram Story.
“Our dear 9-year-old son Rafferty brings us immense joy and gratitude. His wellbeing and happiness have always been, and will forever remain, our topmost concern.”
“Of course, we continue to treasure and eagerly anticipate raising our fantastic son together throughout our lifetimes.”
“Although our path has been shifting gradually, we’re currently figuring out our next steps as a family. We kindly request some space and understanding during this transition… Most importantly, please be mindful of our young son.”
The actor from the movie “Love Actually” continued by saying: “Our affection for Rafferty is something that remains constant and unwavering. We aim to safeguard him and provide an environment where he feels secure. We truly appreciate your understanding and backing during these challenging times…”

In her birthday message to Jack, she expressed: “I find it tough witnessing how deeply you miss this person, but when I lost my brother, I realized I could empathize with your sorrow and anguish. I’m confident, though, that over time, you will come to appreciate the immense impact he has had on your life. He will remain a constant presence in your life forever.”

But fast forward to 2012, they exchanged vows in the picturesque Lake Como, Italy, amidst the serenity of rolling hills and shimmering waters.
