Married At First Sight’s Alissa exposes Gia’s toxic behaviour – as explosive unseen footage emerges

Alissa Fay, a bride from Married At First Sight, has revealed details about her difficult relationship with Gia Fleur. She claims Gia fueled a harsh rivalry between Bec Zacharia and herself, secretly manipulating the situation and using Alissa as a tool in a power play.

Alissa, 33, told the Daily Mail about what she describes as extensive manipulation that happened during filming, claiming the show only revealed a small part of the truth.

She explained that Gia was simply trying to manipulate someone to cause problems for Bec [Zacharia], which has been a recurring pattern throughout the season. She described it as a frustrating cycle of using others to get at Bec.

Alissa claims she was unknowingly dragged into the feud as part of Gia’s wider agenda.

She was clearly trying to retaliate against Bec, and she wanted to protect herself. It seems like they’re stuck in a continuous conflict with each other.

The bride was blunt about the conflict between Gia and Bec, explaining that their competition had become seriously troubling.

‘Those girls will use anyone to fight against each other… if it’s not me, it’s someone else.’

And according to Alissa, what viewers saw on screen was just the beginning.

Honestly, it was so much more awful than people realize. Gia’s tactics were just… unbelievable. She’d dig up anything from the past, twist it around, all to make herself seem like the victim. It was infuriating to watch, just completely ridiculous and manipulative. I couldn’t believe the lengths she’d go to!

Alissa also took aim at the infamous screenshot scandal, suggesting it was far from spontaneous.

‘She threw Juliette under the bus. She set that all up.’

She explained that things quickly got out of control, and she and her husband, David, were left dealing with the consequences.

‘It’s just relentless. It’s just one thing after the other.’

And the impact on her relationship was significant.

‘They were really hurtful… and you just can’t really come back from something like that.’

Alissa surprisingly shared that she had been working to reconnect with both Gia and Bec, not knowing about the issues that were supposedly happening without her knowledge.

I was reconnecting with those girls and had begun a friendship with Gia. I’d also forgiven Beck and was working on rebuilding our relationship.

But she was left blindsided when the drama resurfaced.

I found myself drawn back into the situation, and I started questioning why I was so quick to forgive. It felt foolish, and I worried I was making a fool of myself.

Despite trying to stay out of the chaos, Alissa said she and David became constant targets.

David and I were constantly facing conflict, even though all we wanted was to resolve our issues and build a stronger relationship.

She added: ‘It’s just drama after drama after drama.’

Alissa claims the show doesn’t accurately reflect what really happened, suggesting it’s been significantly toned down for viewers.

‘There are things missing, there are storylines missed… there’s so much drama and so much noise.’

‘There is so much context missing. There is so much cut out.’

And in a chilling final warning: ‘You haven’t seen sh*t… you have not seen how bad it really was.’

She made shocking accusations, and new video shown on Wednesday’s episode of the Stan show Married at First Sight: After the Dinner Party seems to back up what she said.

The episode included several previously unheard audio recordings that reportedly show Gia was the one pulling the strings and organizing everything that happened.

One recording captures her persuading a worried Juliette to share the screenshots, and another shows her telling Bec that the situation is about to escalate.

The clearest sign of trouble comes when Gia seems to give up, warning another player that they’re facing a hopeless situation and need to be cautious.

Despite apologies from Bec, Alissa and David have made it clear the damage is done.

‘No, there is a lot of repetitive behaviour from Bec… I don’t think you can come back from that.’

For Alissa, the experience has left a lasting mark – both on her friendships and her relationship.

I never expected to find myself dealing with high school-like issues again. I thought I was signing up for marriage, but instead, I’ve faced a lot of unnecessary conflict.

As the season races to its exciting conclusion, it’s obvious the conflict to be the ultimate leader is still ongoing.

Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
