Gia Fleur, a bride from Married At First Sight, surprised listeners on Wednesday morning when she unexpectedly used profanity twice during a live radio interview.
The 35-year-old reality TV personality was a guest on the Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show to talk about being on the newest season of Channel Nine’s dating show, and the conversation took a surprising direction.
Fifi Box, co-host of the show, was chatting with Gia about the newest season of Married at First Sight when the bride unexpectedly changed the subject.
‘It’s a f***ing s**t-show! Oh, I wasn’t supposed to swear,’ Gia responded.
The live breakfast show experienced a short interruption when someone accidentally hit the wrong button, causing it to go off the air for a few seconds. When it returned, the results were even more unexpected.
Fifi Box told Gia that the women competing this season seem particularly strong, and hinted that Gia might be the most competitive of them all.
Let me tell you, working in live television means things don’t always go as planned! Just the other day, I had a bit of a slip of the tongue – a little expletive slipped out, and well, the show was temporarily taken off the air. It happens, you know? We’re all human!
Fifi expressed her frustration, explaining that this was the first time a guest had been asked to leave the show—twice. She hoped they could avoid a third interruption.
It seems like every season of the show is hyped as the biggest yet, but as a longtime fan, I truly believe this season is the most dramatic one so far. I’m definitely a central figure in all the dinner party drama,” Gia shared.
She then revealed who she would have liked to be matched with if she wasn’t with Scott McCristal.
She said Luke was very attractive and that she would have chosen him if she could. While she also found David attractive, she was ultimately happy with the person she ended up with.
This happened after Gia had a heated argument with her fiancé just hours before her wedding to Scott McCristal during Tuesday night’s episode.
As she got ready for her wedding, her friend William came over to assist with the preparations.
However, Gia did not appear to appreciate his assistance and began furiously telling him off.
Gia snapped at William, who walked in while she was applying makeup, telling him she wasn’t ready and to leave her alone.
Gia then proceeded to tell William off for ‘distracting’ her during such an important day.
“I have a huge amount of work left, so please stop interrupting me,” Gia snapped, clearly frustrated. “We’re really short on time, so please don’t push my buttons.”
William wasn’t having any of Gia’s behavior and told her directly to relax and not overreact, reminding her not to become a typical demanding bride.
Overcome with emotion, Gia exploded, saying, “Everything was fine before you showed up. Please, just give me five minutes alone. I’m finished – I don’t want you with me in the car.”
Gia finished getting ready and walked down to the beach to marry Scott, a 33-year-old affectionately known as ‘Scotty the hottie’.
The situation quickly escalated when she became upset and began using inappropriate language during the ceremony.
Gia angrily walked down the beachside aisle toward Scott at the altar, upset that she was wearing heels – which weren’t suitable for the occasion.
She then took her heels off so she could walk on the sand, screaming out ‘oh s**t’ in frustration.
After that initial moment, the ceremony proceeded smoothly. In a playful gesture, Gia playfully flashed her underwear at Scott during the emotional event.
Gia, described as the show’s most outrageous bride, immediately grabbed viewers’ attention with a daring and bold entrance on the premiere episode.
