Margot Robbie keeps a low-profile in a bucket hat as she enjoys a luxury day out with pal Phoebe Tonkin at celebrity hotspot Club 55 in Saint-Tropez

Margot Robbie and Phoebe Tonkin spent a glamorous day at the famous Club 55 in Saint-Tropez on Wednesday.

Margot Robbie, 35, known for her role in Barbie, and Paul Wesley, 36, from The Vampire Diaries, seemed cheerful as they went to a bar after being transported from their yacht by a small inflatable boat.

Margot looked relaxed and comfortable in blue jeans and a large, cozy brown sweater.

I always say, if you want to blend in a little, a classic denim bucket hat is your best friend! I spotted a star the other day doing just that – keeping things casual and understated with a blue one, paired with a simple black handbag. It’s all about effortless style, and she nailed it.

Margot arrived at the beach bar for lunch wearing a fashionable brown suede jacket and carrying a big white tote bag.

Phoebe, a longtime friend, finished her outfit with a long black coat worn over fashionable white pants.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I just saw them – my absolute favorites! They arrived by boat, can you even imagine?! They were just chatting and laughing as they walked along the beach, heading to the restaurant. It was like a dream, seriously! I nearly fainted!

This follows the box office success of “Wuthering Heights,” the latest film produced by Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley’s company, LuckyChap.

The couple, known for their lavish lifestyle, recently celebrated by buying a very expensive case of wine – a treat most people can’t afford.

Last week in Los Angeles, the couple was spotted leaving a liquor store. Producer Tom was carrying a box of Scarecrow wine, a very expensive brand that costs about $1,500 per bottle.

Margot opted for a casual look with a black sweatshirt, leggings, and sneakers, but added a touch of luxury with a Chanel handbag and sunglasses.

She wore her newly-cut bob in a half-up style ad clutched a drink bottle in one hand. 

Her beau meanwhile sported a grey T-shirt, dark trousers and a black cross-body satchel bag.

Margot’s recent appearance follows concerns raised by leading London bars and restaurants about her gin. They’ve stopped serving it because it contains oysters, and some worry this could cause a dangerous reaction for people with shellfish allergies.

Papa Salt Coastal Gin is a unique spirit made with oyster shells, giving it a distinctive flavor. A 700ml bottle typically costs around $80 and is available at department stores like Selfridges.

Margot, known for her role in Wuthering Heights, has shared that she wanted her gin brand to capture the feeling of the Australian beaches where she spent her childhood.

Despite its potential, many leading bars and restaurants in London aren’t serving the drink because of allergy worries. The bottle clearly states it contains molluscs, which could cause reactions in some people.

Margot has altered the ingredients in her liquor, The Guardian reports, and anyone with a shellfish allergy should avoid drinking it.

Okay, so I’ve been deeply researching gin, and it’s fascinating! Basically, the way they make it usually gets rid of almost all shellfish proteins, which is great for allergies. But, and this is a big ‘but’ for oyster gin lovers like me, if they actually use oysters in the process, a tiny bit of those proteins can still sneak through. It’s a small risk, but I needed to know! I just had to understand the science behind my favorite drink.

Reactions to shellfish include anaphylaxis for those with severe allergies, which can be fatal.

The bar owner explained that stocking the gin would require all staff to check for shellfish allergies every time someone ordered a gin and tonic. They felt the extra time and potential risk weren’t worth it.

The restaurant manager explained that they’re already very busy and facing challenges like many restaurants right now. They don’t want to add extra work for their staff, such as having to check for shellfish allergies when people simply order a gin.

As a huge fan of Margot’s gin, I was so relieved to hear from her team that they’re working on a new formula! Apparently, they’re taking out the oyster element, and we can expect a version without it to be available by the end of 2026. I’m really excited about this – it means even more people can enjoy this fantastic drink!

The new Australian liquor brand was created by the actress and her husband.  

Margot and Tom welcomed their first child, a son, in November 2024. They haven’t shared his name with the public yet.
