The new ‘Regroup’ feature is a major addition! The AI improvements are promising, though it’s still early to tell how effective they’ll be.
TL;DR
- Regroup feature will be added with the incoming update.
- It allows players to exit a boss fight without consuming an attempt, similar to Mock Battle.
- It also means you no longer have to exit entirely from the game when a non-Mock battle needs improvement.
- This update will be released with the incoming update.
- It allows players to exit a boss fight without consuming an attempt, similar to Mock Battle.
- Improvements to Anomaly Interception rewards
- Stages 8 and 9 will have their own increased reward tier, instead of capping out at 7.
- Income for Manufacturer Arms and Custom Module Shard will be increased; nothing about the chances for drops.
- It is specified that if you manage to reach Stage 7 vs Kraken, the amount of Custom Modules Shards given out is expected to go up by about +50, the equivalent of the daily Custom Module shard reward that was given out from Surface dailies.
- This means it is now possible to craft at least 1 Custom Module a day if you can reach Stage 7 Kraken.
- Full Burst should hopefully look even more amazing with the proposed changes.

- This update will be released in April.
- View Mode will be expanded upon to also allow players to look at a Nikke’s weapons, particle effects and projectiles, if they have any.
- This update will be released in April as well.
- The incoming March event, 2×2 Love, will include a visual novel ‘mini-game’ that revolves around Commander, Arcana and Privaty.
- It has a lot more text than usual, as expected of a visual novel.
- Multiple endings and branching paths to seek out.
- Fully voice acted important scenes.
- It has a lot more text than usual, as expected of a visual novel.
- Aside from the incoming half-anniversary, there is another, major event coming this April, just before the half-anniversary, so the developer team is busier compared to even past anniversaries.
- It’s likely going to be incredibly good bait just before half anniversary, so be careful with your pulls.
Dear Commanders,
I’m Hyungsuk Yoo, the director of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.
With warmer weather arriving, spring is in the air. I hope you can all take a little time to relax and enjoy yourselves, even with your busy schedules.
As spring approaches, we’re excited to share a few updates and improvements we’ve been working on. These aren’t big changes, but they’re designed to make your gaming experience more enjoyable. Feel free to review them when you have a moment.
Regroup Feature Update
The challenging boss battles in NIKKE are a highlight of the game’s shooting action. If you’re a fan of those, we have some exciting updates to share!
As a player, I’m really into the different challenges the game offers, like Interception, Solo Raids, the Raid Museum, and Union Raids. It’s not just about beating these things, though – everyone’s trying to get the highest possible score! That means a lot of us replay them over and over, pushing for new records and really perfecting our strategies.
One minor issue with the new boss battles is that you have to completely restart the game to change your team setup. We know it’s frustrating to have to exit and relaunch the game just to try for a better score or adjust your strategy.
We’re planning to add a regroup feature that lets you quickly reorganize your team and immediately retry a battle without having to restart the game. This will remove frustrating extra steps, allowing you to focus on the boss fights and enjoy the challenge.
This feature is scheduled to be implemented in the March update.
Improvements to Anomaly Interception Rewards
Next, I’d like to go over the improvements to the Anomaly Interception rewards.
With this update, we’re boosting rewards in Anomaly Interception, starting with phase 1. We’ve focused our efforts on making it easier to get Custom Modules and T9 Manufacturer Equipment, as we know these are important to our players.
We’re still finalizing the numbers, so I can’t give you the precise details just yet, but here’s what we’re aiming for with the increase in rewards for Custom Modules:
Normally, getting to phase 7 of Anomaly Interception with all three daily tries should give you about the same number of Custom Modules as you used to get from daily missions during the Surface content beta.
On Full Burst Days, the expected yield will increase further, providing a more satisfying boost.
We’ll also be giving completion rewards for phases 8 and 9, though these are mainly for completing the record. Our goal is to make Anomaly Interception a challenging experience, and at the same time, simplify the process of getting Custom Modules and equipment.
We plan to release this update in April. We’re also exploring a new system to make it easier to get Custom Modules, and we’ll share more details as we develop it.
Improvements to View Mode
View Mode is a helpful feature in Nikke’s character details and on Nikkepedia that lets players see how a character moves in battle – it’s popular with players!
It doesn’t show what the weapon looks like when fired, or how its projectiles appear, so it’s not a completely accurate depiction of what’s happening in battle.
In the April update, we’re improving the Combat View Mode. This will let players see exactly how battles will look, including weapons and special effects, so they can get a realistic preview before fighting.
We hope this improves the accuracy and realism of character battles and movements.
March Event: 2X2 Love
This March, we’re excited to launch 2X2 Love, a spring-themed event! It will feature a new story and, for the first time ever in a spring event, a fun mini-game.
This game tells stories in a visual novel style, meaning your decisions will change the plot and lead to different outcomes and endings. The story progresses based on the choices you make.
Because the game includes a lot of text, we designed it to be more of a story you can enjoy at your own pace, rather than a quick, action-packed experience.
Key moments in the game feature voice-overs to really draw you in, so we encourage you to enjoy the experience and play at your own pace.
April Event
I’m so excited to talk about the event coming up in April! It’s going to be the half-anniversary celebration for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, and I can’t wait to see what they have planned.
We typically announce details like these during special livestreams around our half-year anniversaries, so you won’t often find them in the developer’s notes. However, since I’ve already mentioned some of our spring events, I’ll quickly share a bit of information now.
Actually, the team has been focusing more on the half-anniversary celebration than the full anniversary. We have another big event planned for April, and with both of these happening, it’s a particularly busy time for everyone.
I’m happy with how we’ve prepared for the April event celebrating our half-anniversary, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it. We’ll continue to refine everything right up until the event to make sure it’s a wonderful spring celebration for everyone.
That’s all for today! We hope this spring season brings you lots of joy and happy times to share with NIKKE.
