The latest update for “The First Berserker: Khazan” is now active on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This update aims to resolve significant issues that players have been encountering since the game’s launch in late March. Since its debut, “The First Berserker: Khazan” has undergone several updates, with developers tirelessly refining the gaming experience and fixing substantial problems within this challenging action RPG.

As a thrilled fan, I can’t help but share my exhilaration over “The First Berserker: Khazan,” which, upon its launch on March 27, was warmly welcomed by gamers everywhere. The praise is well-deserved, given the game’s enticing Soulslike combat system, innovative summoning mechanic, and breathtaking visual style. However, it’s not all smooth sailing. The game has encountered its share of annoying bugs and peculiar design decisions, such as the absence of a pause button and persistent technical issues like crashes and freezes. Thankfully, as April draws to a close, the developers at Neople have stepped up to the plate with another patch aimed at addressing the most frequent complaints regarding this RPG.

Khazan, the development team has rolled out a fresh update aimed at fixing recurring freezing and crashing problems experienced by players. The game’s developers have reportedly rectified an issue where the RPG would freeze when a player rapidly switches weapons during combat, ensuring this should no longer occur. Furthermore, the game will no longer crash after players unlock the “Stand Alone” achievement, which is awarded during the game’s credits sequence. Game developers also provided instructions for players to restore their save data following a crash, as well as tutorials on how to submit log files and save files on PC systems.

In April’s early days, it was disclosed that “The First Berserker: Khazan” would receive a complimentary DLC expansion in May. However, specifics about this release have yet to be unveiled. Moreover, there are other fresh contents lined up for the intense Soulslike game, as its developers, Neople, express their intention to keep “Khazan” updated until 2026. Players are encouraged to keep offering feedback in the meantime, as the team is committed to resolving any issues arising from the dedicated fanbase of this beloved title.

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for me as a fan of Soulslikes, with Elden Ring: Nightreign set to drop in May and Lies of P: Overture DLC targeting a summer release. The hype around The First Berserker: Khazan as a new IP is palpable, but it’s going to face stiff competition from other promising newcomers like Soulframe, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Ballad of Antara, and Mandragora, which recently hit the market.
