Major Patch on the way for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

2025’s most significant RPG to date, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, had an explosive debut and continues to captivate players worldwide. However, the creative minds behind Warhorse Studios are not resting on their laurels; they’ve unveiled the official release date for the upcoming major update.

The release date is set for Wednesday, 12 March, and was announced on their official Instagram.

In the picture, you can observe Henry receiving a tranquil haircut. It’s evident that this scenario will soon allow us to select our preferred hairstyles for our individual Henry characters in the game. This customization feature is delightful, yet it raises the question of when a challenging mode will be introduced to the game as well.

It appears that I’m on my second playthrough, and finding it less challenging this time, which makes it somewhat monotonous. Introducing a hardcore mode could significantly boost replayability. However, Warhorse Studios demonstrated the hardcore mode in their latest video broadcast, but it remains uncertain if this feature will be incorporated into the upcoming 12th Patch on Wednesday.

As per our plan, it’s likely that we’ll see modding support shortly, but at the moment, only the barber mode has officially been announced, as shared in the Instagram post you saw earlier. The topic of modding was mentioned in the video linked above as well, but no additional details have been disclosed yet.

It’s our fervent wish that additional features like modding support and challenging gameplay (hardcore mode) will arrive promptly for the enthusiastic gamers who are anxiously looking forward to them.

Additionally, there are scheduled to be three Downloadable Content (DLC) packages this year, which means Kingdom Come 2 enthusiasts have plenty to anticipate. As for me, I’m excitedly counting down the days to discover more about Henry’s journey.
