Ollie and Gareth Locke, known from the reality show Made In Chelsea, lost their London home, valued at £4 million, on Wednesday.
The reality TV stars had to move out of their home because they owe over £25,000 in unpaid rent, and the bill still hasn’t been settled.
The parents of two-year-old twins hired Davis And Mac, a moving company that recently helped Emily Atack move into her new house in the countryside, to handle their move.
It’s unclear if Ollie, 38, and Gareth, 37, paid for the services they received, but Ollie was filming the process on his phone.
Okay, so here’s the situation as I understand it. This couple is facing some really serious financial trouble – they’re potentially looking at bankruptcy. They owed around £25,000, which covered their rent for three months and also a penalty fee. Unfortunately, they were evicted because they couldn’t get the rent and those outstanding costs paid by the January 3rd deadline. It’s a tough spot, and they’re really scrambling right now.
Daily Mail has contacted Ollie’s representatives for comment.
Gareth seemed stressed during the move, but Ollie tried to appear cheerful while talking with the movers.
Ollie and Gareth had a tenant who paid rent directly to them, but they later found out the money wasn’t being forwarded to the landlord. They suspect the tenant’s payments were instead used to fund their own expensive way of life.
Because of this, the tenant, even though she’s been paying on time, might now experience negative consequences and could find herself in a difficult financial situation.
Since 2023, the couple has been renting a large house with four bedrooms and four bathrooms close to King’s Road. They often visit Portobello Road in Notting Hill and film their YouTube show, ‘Our Daddy Diaries,’ at the house.
According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, the Chelsea couple is trying to seem happy by going on lavish vacations, escaping to charming countryside retreats, and dining at the most expensive restaurants in London.
Sources say the couple took a last-minute, all-expenses-paid trip to Barbados with TOWIE star Lydia Bright, learning they would be evicted on March 2nd just before leaving.
Someone close to the situation shared that Ollie and Gareth have been having trouble paying rent for nearly a year.
Despite living in a wealthy part of London, close to the popular King’s Road, they’ve been living a luxurious lifestyle, including vacations in the Caribbean and expensive meals at restaurants like Scott’s.
The tenants haven’t paid rent for three months and were repeatedly warned they were violating their lease agreement. They were given until January 30th to pay what they owed.
Because they missed a payment and now owe extra fees, they are at risk of losing their home and filing for bankruptcy, potentially leaving them and their two young children without a place to live.
Honestly, this situation is even more upsetting because a tenant is caught in the middle. She’s been paying her rent directly to Ollie and Gareth, and now she’s understandably worried about what happens next. It’s just a really difficult spot for her to be in, and I feel terrible for her.
‘After paying on time every month, she trusted the money was passed on to the landlord.’
According to a source familiar with the situation, the disagreement between Ollie and Gareth is just a typical falling out between friends. They had a difference of opinion that unfortunately escalated, but it’s a minor issue and they’re working it out.

They added: ‘This is deeply upsetting for Ollie and Gareth.
‘They had become close friends with their tenant – she’s even godmother to their children.
Things fell apart in the relationship, and now they’re focused on paying back what they owe and starting over with a fresh start in a new home.
They share the rented home with their two-year-old twins, who were born via surrogate in July 2023.
Ollie and Gareth’s Chelsea townhouse, worth £4 million, has four bedrooms and four bathrooms – two of which are en-suite. It also features a home cinema and a garden.
Despite falling behind on their rent in January, the couple took a Caribbean vacation to Barbados courtesy of P&O Cruises. Both Ollie and Gareth posted sunny photos on Instagram, effectively advertising the trip.
P&O Cruises recently shared on Instagram how much they enjoyed having Lydia Bright and Ollie Locke aboard their ship, Arvia, while sailing through the Caribbean.
They visited stunning ports, enjoyed incredible ocean views, and experienced the all-inclusive wonder of a cruise vacation.
They’ve been seen together at multiple high-profile events over the last year, such as the BAFTA TV Awards and the Pride of Britain Awards. They often dress in coordinated outfits, like matching suits or tuxedos.
In 2023, the couple first shared photos of their newborn babies in an exclusive feature for Hello! magazine, and then later posted pictures of the twins on Instagram.
The couple chronicled their experiences as new parents in a YouTube series called Our Daddy Diaries, but they haven’t posted any new videos in the last two years.
The couple previously had a podcast called NewlyDads, but they haven’t released any new episodes since February 2024.
Ollie and Gareth made history in November 2020 by becoming the first same-sex couple to get married at London’s famous Natural History Museum.
The wedding was filmed for the reality show Made In Chelsea, and Olivia Bentley and Binky Felstead were both bridesmaids.
Ollie signed up to Made In Chelsea when the show first burst onto screens in 2011.
He became well-known for the dramatic stories he shared with his friend Binky, and he was a pioneer among reality TV stars in openly sharing his personal life on television.
He’s also been on TV shows like Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in September 2016.
The Daily Mail has approached Ollie and the couple’s spokesman for comment.
