Lola Young celebrated her first Grammy victory with an energy drink while partying with country music legend Shania Twain at Universal’s glamorous after-party on Sunday.
The 25-year-old singer, who won Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Messy” at the awards show, seemed excited to celebrate at the after-party held at NYA West.
Lola swapped her comfortable tracksuit for a tight-fitting, grey plaid playsuit while enjoying a Monster Energy drink.
The British actress seemed genuinely surprised while posing for a photo with 60-year-old country music icon Shania Twain, and she carried a Gucci crossbody bag.
The singer of “That Don’t Impress Me Much” looked stunning in a black dress with a deep V-neck and a zipper front. She completed the look with knee-high boots and bold earrings.
At the party, Paris Jackson caught everyone’s attention with a long, navy blue dress featuring a striking red snake design on the front.
The model showcased her long legs in a dress with a high slit and completed the look with black Christian Louboutin thigh-high boots.
Paris styled her blonde hair in loose, beachy waves and completed the look with several layered gold necklaces.
Suki Waterhouse looked chic in a grey satin blouse with delicate lace accents, paired with a long leather skirt.
The actress and singer wore high heels as she arrived on the red carpet before the party.
Sharon Osbourne was joined by her children, Kelly and Jack, and their friends as they headed to the after-party.
The TV star, visibly emotional after crying on stage at the Grammys, wore a pair of the famous red-tinted round glasses that belonged to her late husband.
The former X Factor judge was also seen talking with Michele Anthony, CEO of Republic Records, and Monte Lipman, an executive vice president at Universal Music Group, at the event.
I was completely mesmerized by Haley Kalil’s look! She wore this incredible black corset dress – it was a little see-through, which made it even more stunning – and paired it with these long, dramatic PVC gloves. It was such a bold and unforgettable outfit!
The influencer styled her waist-length red tresses loose and accessorised with a dazzling necklace.
British singer Tallia Storm turned heads in a dazzling, see-through sequin dress with an open back, perfectly highlighting her figure.
The influencer showed off a bold look, wearing a dress that revealed a black thong underneath and completing the outfit with very high black heels.
Tolou turned heads in a sparkling black dress with cutouts and a daringly high slit, showing off her fit physique.
The beautiful actress smiled brightly as she walked the red carpet, wearing a sleeveless dress with buttons down the front.
Oh my gosh, Verdine White looked amazing! Seriously, 74 years young and he was rocking this incredible burgundy double-breasted suit with a crisp white shirt. He was just beaming, totally loving the photos, and honestly, who wouldn’t? He’s a legend!
Lola used profanity several times while accepting her first Grammy award at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
She recently celebrated a victory after making a comeback – she performed a raw, emotional rendition of her song on stage, following a short break and the cancellation of her tour due to a health issue late last year.
She was nominated alongside Justin Bieber for his song “DAISIES,” Sabrina Carpenter for “Manchild,” Lady Gaga for “Disease,” and Chappell Roan for “The Subway.”
Young started by admitting he hadn’t prepared a speech, saying, ‘I don’t know what I’m going to say,’ before briefly using a profanity.
CBS nearly broadcast a curse word live on air, but they quickly cut the sound to prevent viewers from hearing the beginning of her speech, which contained strong language.
Then, she profusely apologized to the crowd of fellow stars for swearing.
The London-born sensation exclaimed: ‘Sorry, sorry, sorry! It’s messy, you know what I mean?
She continued, saying she was incredibly grateful, and you could see it on her face. “We did it!” she exclaimed, adding, “I love everyone!”
Young was also up for Best New Artist at the Grammys this year, but Olivia Dean took home the award.
Before receiving the award, Young played a piano arrangement of the song that would ultimately win, as one of the first performances of the night.
It was so wonderful to see her back on stage! As many of you know, she had to postpone her tour back in September of last year due to a health issue, and this performance truly signaled her triumphant return. It was a really special moment for everyone involved, and a testament to her strength and resilience.
