Lisa Rinna reveals she nearly strangled Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills co-star during ‘traumatic’ explosive row in Amsterdam

Lisa Rinna has shared that she almost physically attacked her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar, Kim Richards, during a very intense and upsetting argument.

A major argument between the women escalated during a 2015 trip to Amsterdam, culminating in a dramatic outburst where Lisa threw wine at Kim and then smashed a wine glass.

Okay, so I just heard this, and I’m shook. Apparently, Lisa, you know, our queen who left the show back in 2022, actually threw that drink at Kim on purpose! She said she was so furious, she did it to stop herself from, like, completely losing it and actually strangling her! Can you believe it? It was a calculated move to avoid a total meltdown! I always knew Lisa had a strategy, even when things got crazy.

Lisa recently told Entertainment Tonight that she has no regrets about a past conflict, explaining that she managed to stop herself from physically confronting the other person. She admitted she was on the verge of attacking them, saying she ‘was going across that table to, like, strangle her.’

I had a strong feeling, like a warning, that if I made a move on her, I would end up in jail in Amsterdam. It was so clear that I immediately stopped myself.

She explained that seeing the situation escalate and then having to step back was incredibly frustrating, as she felt she had a lot more to give. That’s why she impulsively grabbed the glass and reacted, because she felt she had held herself back for too long.

Lisa described the intense argument, saying it now feels distant, like she’s observing someone else’s experience. She admitted it was deeply upsetting when it happened and that it’s hard for her to relate to her past self during that time.

We can all look back and laugh about it now, and it’s even become a bit of a running joke, but honestly, when it happened, it was a really awful experience for everyone involved. We were all pretty shaken up.

Now that I have some breathing room, I can confidently say it’s one of the best shows on television.

She explained that they had been sitting down for about five minutes before the incident occurred.

It happened really quickly – just about five minutes. It was intense and incredibly hot.

The conflict between the two women on season five of the Bravo show had been simmering for a while, but it escalated when Lisa challenged Kim about whether she was still sober.

Kim wasn’t pleased with Lisa’s worry and responded by saying, ‘Let’s talk about the husband,’ which appeared to be a pointed remark about Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin.

“Don’t you dare mention my husband!” Lisa shouted, jumping up and rushing towards Kim in anger.

She then threw a drink at her face and smashed a wine glass on the table.

Tensions between them continued to rise during season seven, reportedly starting when Lisa told a former cast member, Eden Sassoon, that Kim was dangerously struggling with substance use.

For most of the season, she insisted it wasn’t true, but she finally admitted to Kim that she’d been questioning Kim’s sobriety.

Hoping to make amends, Lisa gave Kim a stuffed bunny as a gift, intending it for Kim’s grandson, as a peace offering.

Although she initially seemed to take it well, the comment was brought up again during the show’s reunion, and she immediately turned it around and directed it back at Lisa, causing her to cry.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Lisa just dropped a bomb in her new book, ‘You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It’! She actually named one of her old co-stars as, like, the biggest bully in Hollywood. I’m dying to know who it is, honestly! I’ve already pre-ordered the book and I’m counting down the minutes until it arrives. This is HUGE!

Although many expected Lisa to reveal a fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member as the source of her worst Hollywood experience, she surprisingly shared that it actually happened in the early 1990s while working on the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Lisa, known for her role as Billie Reed on the soap opera, revealed that her co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly, who played Bo Brady, made her time on the show extremely difficult.

‘Behind-the-scenes we hated each other,’ she wrote in the book.

Everyone’s still talking about Kathy Hilton calling me Hollywood’s biggest bully, which is just… not accurate. Honestly, I could share so many stories about actual bullies here. Robert Kelker-Kelly is definitely one of them, and I have the proof to back it up.

Working with him on ‘Days’ was a truly awful experience. He treated me terribly, and I would describe his behavior as verbally abusive. He was constantly passive-aggressive, manipulative, and seemed to enjoy playing mind games.

She explained that working with him was difficult, as they frequently filmed intimate scenes together. He would often ignore her if she didn’t comply with his requests.

Working with him was incredibly stressful. You never knew what to expect – he could be pleasant one day and difficult the next. His unpredictable behavior was draining to be around.

Lisa felt a sense of relief when he suddenly quit the show and Peter Reckell took over the role. Reckell had famously played Bo Brady earlier in the series, from 1983 to 1992.

She stated that after his departure, both she and her co-star Kristian Alfonso (who played Hope Brady, Robert’s other love interest) were given a security team by NBC. However, she didn’t believe he posed a real threat and felt the security was an overreaction.

She claims he vanished from the set one day, and shortly after, Kristian and I were assigned full-time security. I wasn’t afraid for our safety, but NBC wanted to be cautious. For three weeks, we had security guards stationed outside our homes and trailers, and they drove us to and from work.

NBC declined to respond when reached for comment. Kelker-Kelly has also been contacted for comment.
