The action movie The A-Team, featuring Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper, is coming to a streaming service at no cost. Starring Neeson, Cooper, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Sharlto Copley, the film will be available to watch starting May 1st.

You can currently watch The A-Team on Starz, but it’s not the most well-known or free streaming service. If you’re interested in seeing this modern take on the classic ’80s show – which made $177.2 million in theaters – you’ll be happy to know it will be available for free starting May 1st.

What Is The A-Team About?

The television show The A-Team centers around Col. Hannibal Smith (Liam Neeson) and his team of highly skilled soldiers, all veterans of the Iraq War. Wrongfully accused of a crime, they escape custody and operate outside the law, determined to prove their innocence and uncover the true culprit. Pursuing them is Capt. Charissa Sosa (Jessica Biel), adding to the challenge for Hannibal and his crew: the unpredictable pilot Capt. Murdock (Dirk Copley), the strong and intimidating Sgt. Baracus (Lance Jackson), and the smooth-talking Lt. Peck (Brad Cooper).

Joe Carnahan directed the movie The A-Team, which he co-wrote with Brian Bloom and Skip Woods. The film features Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, Jessica Biel, and Patrick Wilson as Agent Lynch, among others.

The 2010 movie The A-Team didn’t do well in theaters, earning $177.2 million on a $110 million budget. As a result, plans for a sequel were cancelled. Director Joe Carnahan confirmed this, stating simply that the film didn’t make enough money to justify a continuation.

The remake of The A-Team received mostly negative reviews from critics. While some aspects were praised, many found the script lacked the playful spirit of the original TV show and felt too similar to typical action movies. It currently has a 42% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The A-Team Might Be the Perfect Tubi Movie

This is similar to finding The A-Team on Tubi. Tubi is known for having a lot of older movies – not necessarily classics, but perfect for relaxing and watching on a weekend, especially because it’s free.

For devoted fans of the original The A-Team, this might be the only updated version of the show they’ll ever see. After the movie didn’t do well in theaters, hopes for another film faded. While Fox tried to create a new TV series in 2015, it was ultimately never produced.

The original A-Team series isn’t available to stream completely anywhere, but you can find two seasons on Philo.
