According to the Associated Press, the movie Memory, directed by British filmmaker Martin Campbell (known for both stylish and realistic thrillers), feels superficial and doesn’t fully capture a sense of location, preventing it from being truly memorable.
Okay, so I just read a review of Memory, and it basically said it’s an okay action movie – not as good as Liam Neeson’s best, but not terrible either. The reviewer pointed out the obvious though: you’ll probably forget most of it pretty quickly after you’ve watched it.
According to Vulture, the film Memory‘s strength lies in its self-awareness – it’s a thoroughly enjoyable mix of gritty action and genuine emotional depth, making it a standout B-movie.
