As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming split-screen feature in LEGO Fortnite! It’s not every day that we get to relive the glory days of local multiplayer gaming on a single console. The nostalgia is palpable, and I can already picture myself huddled around a screen with my best friend, strategizing our way through the battle royale mayhem.
LEGO Fortnite is getting split-screen!
In exciting news for gamers everywhere, LEGO Fortnite is finally going to offer split-screen mode! This means that you and a friend will be able to play this popular Fortnite game on a single console at the same time.
When can we expect the official release of the split-screen mode for the LEGO Fortnite set, and could you explain what this new feature entails?
PlayStation announces LEGO Fortnite split-screen
For a while now, Fortnite on consoles has featured split-screen, but it’s been absent in LEGO Fortnite. Given the numerous major updates planned for the game, incorporating split-screen functionality isn’t unexpected anymore.
Still, fans are pretty ecstatic about the new add to the game.

As a gamer, let me tell you about split-screen! It’s a fantastic feature that lets two of us play together on a single console. Instead of one big screen, the game divides into two parts for each player, giving us our own view of the action. This is super convenient when we hang out and want to enjoy some quality gaming time together.
When will it be released, though?
LEGO Fortnite split-screen release date
In a couple of weeks, I’ll be able to say “game on” with a friend right next to me! According to PlayStation, they’re adding the split-screen feature to our game in October.
Gamers might start using the split-screen feature in LEGO Fortnite as soon as next week, or alternatively, it may not launch until the end of this month.
Additionally, PlayStation unveiled a special edition PS5 controller themed around Fortnite, boasting a striking blue design with graphics reminiscent of the popular game plastered all over it. This move by PlayStation suggests they are seriously ramping up their offerings for Fortnite enthusiasts.

So, will you be playing the game on split-screen?
