This is a huge year for fans of the legendary video game series, which is turning 40! While everyone eagerly anticipates Nintendo’s anniversary plans, a brand-new game for the franchise is already set to launch this summer.

The official vinyl soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is coming out on June 19, 2026. You can pre-order it now! There will be two versions available: a double LP and a deluxe 8-LP box set. This release is a collaboration between Nintendo and Laced Records. The double LP features beautiful blue and white marbled vinyl, while the 8-LP set has a unique blue and gold splatter effect.

The Soundtrack Is Must-Have for Legend of Zelda Fans

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild soundtrack is available on both an 8-LP box set and a 2-LP set. The expansive 8-LP collection features 130 tracks, all newly remastered for vinyl, and is organized to mirror the game’s journey – from exploration to freeing the Divine Beasts and uncovering Shrine secrets. The 2-LP set includes 34 carefully chosen tracks, such as “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle.”

This release is notable as one of the first significant Nintendo game soundtracks to get a vinyl pressing outside of Japan. The music was composed by Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe.

It’s no surprise Nintendo is releasing the official soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game, which came out in 2017 for Nintendo Switch and Wii U, quickly became a fan favorite and one of the best in the Zelda series. The soundtrack release follows the game’s continued success last year.
