She was devastated when her partner rejected her during their final vows on Married At First Sight, in what many considered a particularly harsh breakup.
Bec Zacharia seemed to be moving on from recent difficulties, spotted out in Woolloomooloo, Sydney with fellow bride Rebecca Zukowski.
The 35-year-old reality TV personality seemed comfortable and happy, with her arm linked with a fellow cast member as they walked around town.
Bec looked effortlessly cool and stylish in a black T-shirt with a bold message, combined with fitted, dark grey bike shorts that highlighted her athletic legs.
She finished her casual outfit with clean white sneakers and socks, then added a stylish touch with oversized sunglasses and a designer crossbody bag.
Bec, with her straight, flowing brunette hair, looked confident and relaxed as she leaned towards Rebecca, showing their close connection.
Rebecca chose a relaxed yet stylish outfit, wearing a loose-fitting charcoal gray midi dress with a high slit.
She completed her outfit with simple black sandals and a denim jacket she carried over her shoulder. She kept her accessories and makeup minimal for a natural look.
The two were engrossed in conversation as they walked together, briefly linking arms as a gesture of support for Bec after her difficult and public breakup.
This public appearance follows Bec’s heartbreaking breakup with Danny Hewitt, which happened during the show’s final commitment ceremony and shocked many viewers.
Before the ceremony, Bec had already told Danny she loved him and promised to always be with him, believing they were destined for a happily ever after.
Danny delivered a painful rejection, telling her he only saw her as a friend and didn’t envision a romantic future or family with her.
Bec was devastated by the rejection, and the bride later admitted it was a deeply painful experience.
Although she was deeply hurt, sources close to Bec say she was completely shocked by Danny’s choice. She thought their relationship had been getting better right up until the end of the show.
Their relationship was up and down all season, with problems like a lack of intimacy and frequent, intense fights, especially when they were with others.
Despite everything, Bec thought they had resolved their problems, so Danny’s ultimate choice came as a real surprise.
The reality star seems to be getting support from her fellow cast members, especially Rebecca, who is being a comforting presence during this tough time.
I saw a fun group out and about in Sydney last night! It was lovely to spot those two enjoying dinner with their co-stars – Alissa Fay, Joel Moses, Rachel Gilmore, and Steven Danyluk – at Bill & Toni’s in Darlinghurst. They were all getting together before the Daily Mail’s Final Dinner Party, and it looked like a really great night.
The reunion will bring together popular and sometimes divisive cast members, many of whom haven’t seen each other since filming wrapped up last November.
