Kyle Sandilands drops bombshell about his friendship with Anthony Albanese
As a lifestyle expert with decades of observing and analyzing human dynamics, I find Kyle Sandilands’ confession about his political allegiance, despite his friendship with Anthony Albanese, to be a fascinating glimpse into the complexities of personal beliefs and relationships.
During the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Kyle Sandilands disclosed an unexpected fact about his relationship with Anthony Albanese.
53-year-old radio host confided in his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, aged 49, that although they maintain a friendly relationship with the Labor Party Prime Minister, he personally casts his vote for the opposition party.
‘I vote for the Liberal Party, even though I like Albo,’ Kyle began.
Although Kyle acknowledged the advantages of several of Albanese’s compassionate policies, he confessed that fundamentally, his conservative leanings prevented him from voting for Labor. He found the policies of the Liberal Party more appealing, as they seemed to cater more to affluent individuals such as himself.
‘[Albo] expresses, ‘Behold, this is all my accumulated wealth, allowing everyone to benefit!’ However, I prefer not to distribute it. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time amassing this wealth, and I’m not inclined to spread it among everyone at this time.’
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an interesting insight from August. It turns out that Kyle, whom we all know, was understating his annual earnings quite significantly. His reported $10 million yearly salary was actually just the tip of the iceberg. In reality, he confessed to earning closer to a whopping $15 million each year!
Kyle and Albanese have had a longstanding friendship, and the Prime Minister was among the distinguished attendees at their million-dollar, celebrity-filled wedding to Tegan Kynaston last year.
During the event, Kyle playfully suggested that Albo should propose to his girlfriend, Jodie Haydon, while giving his wedding speech, in a mischievous manner.
While sharing tales of his romance with spouse Tegan Kynaston, the radio host expressed congratulations to two pals who had recently become engaged.
Afterward, he directed the conversation toward Mr. Albanese, who is undeniably one of the most well-known among his 130 wedding attendees, and inquired about his plans to marry his partner of three years.
Sandilands started off by expressing gratitude to his cherished friends who traveled near and far, some even from other countries, as attending the invitation meant a journey for them. Yet, despite it being a destination wedding, everyone made an effort to be present. So, thank you, he said.
One traveler found themselves caught up in our whirlwind of romance in Sydney, and ended up proposing! That’s right, it’s Alex and Josh, such a charming pair. Huge congratulations to the both of them – we couldn’t be happier for them!

Sandilands inquired: “Are any of you planning to tie the knot tonight? I posed this question to you, Albo, but you didn’t respond. He’ll make his decision when he’s ready.
Mr Albanese did eventually pop the question to Jodie in February this year.
Since late 2019, upon the conclusion of my previous marriage with Carmel Tebbutt, I’ve been fortunate to be in a relationship with financial services professional Ms. Haydon, starting from early 2020.
In September, Mr Albanese told ABC Radio their wedding would be held in 2025, after the next Federal election.
