Okay, so KRAFTON India just launched something really cool in BGMI – it’s called BGMI Career Mode. Basically, they’re trying to connect how you play the game with skills that could actually help you in a real job. They teamed up with Aeos Group and Leo Burnett India to make it happen, and it’s live now! You can actually get a report that shows you how your in-game actions translate to potential career paths, which is pretty wild.
BGMI Career Mode lets you showcase real skills beyond in-game ranks
I’m a little jealous of new players – I wish features like this had been around when my friends and I were first learning the game! BGMI’s Career Mode tracks the skills you demonstrate while playing – things like teamwork and leadership – and turns that gameplay data into useful insights you can add to your resume, LinkedIn profile, or use for personal development.
This system creates a personalized Career Mode report by combining your results from psychometric tests with data about how you play the game, thanks to Aeos Group. The report then breaks down your strengths into three key areas: Core Skills, Adaptive Skills, and Additional Attributes.
It’s amazing to see how far gaming has come, with countries like India now recognizing it as a platform for genuine skill. They’re also acknowledging the dedication and hard work players put into their games. Srinjoy Das, from KRAFTON India, correctly pointed out that gaming is a natural environment where real skills and behaviors develop.
How the industry-first initiative BGMI Career Mode actually works
I know I’ve talked a lot, but you’re probably curious about how BGMI Career Mode actually functions. It works by combining your actions and choices with a system that creates a personalized experience based on them.
- The first layer is a psychometric assessment that captures your behavioural preferences, personality indicators, and work-style tendencies via a guided assessment that you need to complete.
- The second one focuses on your in-game behaviour, analysing patterns like strategic thinking, composure, adaptability, and more, where you’re engaging in competitive play.
- These signals are then combined with the psychometric inputs to generate a detailed Career Mode report for you.
I think this is a fantastic project! The team is right – gaming lets people be their true selves in a way that school or work often doesn’t. A big thanks to KRAFTON India for supporting the Indian gaming community. You can find more information and career opportunities on their official website.
