Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3 with Hussite Wars? Henry and Hans Capon actors claim that „Warhorse is never wrong”

Apart from Warhorse Studios enthusiasts eagerly anticipating another Czech RPG, an actor associated with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has expressed optimism that the third installment of the series might delve into a significant historical event in medieval Bohemia – the Hussite Wars.

Luke Dale, during an interview on the Dan Allen Gaming channel, subtly mentioned that the character he portrayed, Hans Capon, was connected to an intriguing aspect of history – a conflict with the Hussites, which he described as “a truly fascinating period in history that is not widely recognized.” (as reported by GamesRadar)

Despite this, he conceded that reenacting the Hussite Wars would present a significant challenge for the studio, given their commitment to historical accuracy. Essentially, developing the third KCD in such an era would involve gathering extensive information, which might necessitate some adjustments in gameplay and narrative aspects.

In addition, the storyline of the first game transpires only a few years after 1403, and its continuation essentially unfolds right after the conclusion of the initial one. However, the Hussite Wars didn’t start until 1419, implying that if our character lived to witness those times, he would have been quite old. In fact, it is speculated that the protagonist in KCD 2 is approximately 20 years old. Yet, during the Middle Ages, average life expectancy was around 32-33 years, considering high mortality rates in childhood (as per Oxford Academic). To make matters worse, the conflict ended fifteen years later.

It’s been indicated through various channels that Warhorse Studios appears to have mapped out future developments for the Kingdom Come series. This information was subtly hinted at by Tom McKay, the actor who portrayed Henry, in an interview with Dan Allen Gaming channel (via GamesRadar). Although neither he nor Dale disclosed specific details, the actor portraying Capon suggested that Warhorse Studios will strike gold again, possibly without him, because “Warhorse Studios never misses the mark.
