Henry, who learned blacksmithing from his blacksmith father, will discuss his vast knowledge about it. The discussion will eventually lead to an exciting wager, where Henry must outperform Matthias in a blacksmithing contest. The goal of this challenge is straightforward:

• Forge a competition sword of high quality.
• Show the sword to Zdimir to complete the quest.

Forging the Competition Sword

To craft a competitive sword, first, engage with the anvil to initiate the blacksmithing process. Here’s how it goes step by step:

1. Heat the steel in a forge until it glows red-hot.
2. Hammer the heated steel on the anvil to shape it roughly into a sword blade.
3. Repeat the heating and shaping process multiple times to refine the shape of the blade, ensuring its balance and strength.
4. Attach the hilt and pommel to the blade, shaping them as desired.
5. Polish the sword to give it a smooth finish.
6. Test the sword for sharpness and durability before use.

3. Beat the workpiece evenly on both sides with a hammer to give it a perfect shape.

After you’ve shown Zdimir your sword, he’ll assess it against Matthias’s. To your astonishment, Zdimir will declare you the victor. You’ll then be entitled to collect your wagered 200 Groschen. However, expect a challenge from Matthias, as he may try to provoke you into a duel in our subsequent conversation.

As a gamer, I’ve got a choice here: I can try to talk my way past this dialogue check, but if I want Mathias’s sword, I’ve gotta be willing to take him on in a fight.
