Kesha is strongly protesting after discovering The White House used her song in a TikTok video that appeared to encourage violence and escalate tensions.
Last month, a White House video showing a military ship being hit by a missile featured Kesha’s song “Blow.”
On Monday, Kesha publicly criticized both the use of her music and President Donald Trump.
On Monday, the artist posted on X (formerly Twitter) that The White House had used one of her songs in a TikTok video to encourage violence and suggest the possibility of war.
It’s deeply upsetting to see war trivialized, and I find it completely unacceptable to use my music to support violence. Love is always the stronger response to hate. Please remember to care for yourselves and each other during these difficult times.
This shocking disrespect for human life, and honestly, this assault on everyone’s peace of mind, goes against everything I believe in.
She finished by pointing out that Donald Trump, who she described as a criminal predator, is mentioned over a million times in the released documents, and that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Trump is mentioned more than 3,000 times in the latest Epstein file release.
The Justice Department clarified that simply being included in the investigation doesn’t mean anyone did anything wrong. They also noted that some of the reviewed documents included inaccurate statements about the president.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing and has not been accused of any crimes linked to Epstein.
