Sources say Keith Urban is planning to record a new album focusing on his breakup with Nicole Kidman, and it’s rumored to be about getting even.

The high-profile couple finalised their divorce in January after 19 years of marriage.

There’s a lot of talk that Keith, age 58, is pouring his feelings about the breakup into a new album, which insiders say will be incredibly emotional and powerful.

According to Woman’s Day, Keith Urban has been processing his split from Nicole Kidman by writing songs, and he’s discovered he has plenty of feelings to express through his music – potentially rivaling artists like Taylor Swift and Lily Allen.

According to a source, 58-year-old Nicole worried that her husband, Keith, might start writing songs about their relationship troubles, similar to how Taylor Swift often turns heartbreak into music.

‘Nicole’s freaking out,’ the source claimed.

Despite the restrictions Keith faces due to his divorce agreement, his ex-wife couldn’t control what he created musically.

‘It’s the only outlet he has to express himself and she’s right to be worried.’

According to the source, Nicole is being extra careful to prevent Keith from revealing personal details about her publicly.

Keith is working on his thirteenth studio album, which is expected to be released sometime after his previous one in 2024.

It hit the top of the ARIA Country Albums chart, and number three on the ARIA Albums chart.

The album peaked at number 38 on the Billboard 200 chart and reached the top ten on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

During a performance in Pennsylvania last October, Keith altered the lyrics to his song ‘You’ll Think of Me,’ which is about a breakup. This was his first show after news broke that he and Nicole had separated.

He playfully altered the phrase ‘Take your space and take your reasons,’ replacing the end with a more vulgar ‘Take your bulls reasons,’ as reported by Us Weekly.
