Kate Garraway speaks out on “lovely” new relationship: “We haven’t had time for a proper date!”

So, Kate Garraway just revealed she’s seeing someone new – Liam Halligan, who’s an economist and journalist. It’s pretty early days though, she said they haven’t even had a proper date yet! It’s cool to hear she’s moving forward, but sounds like it’s still super casual right now.

Last week, Halligan directly responded to rumors about a romantic connection between the two of them in an article for The Spectator. He admitted there’s “a definite spark,” but emphasized that it’s still very new.

Now, the Good Morning Britain anchor has told the Mirror: “It is lovely. I suppose it is!”

She explained that they haven’t had much time for a real date yet, and she’s hesitant to talk about it for fear of ruining things. She playfully added that everyone loves an Irish man.

He joked that now that we’re getting media attention, maybe we could finally go on dates. However, I’ve been really preoccupied with my parents’ health issues lately.
