Julia Roberts took to Instagram over the weekend to wish husband Danny Moder a happy 57th birthday.
Julia Roberts, the 58-year-old Academy Award winner, recently shared a sweet photo of herself with her brother, Eric Roberts, who was recently seen on the red carpet. The picture shows them hugging, with Danny Moder, Julia’s husband, playfully holding some of her hair.
She wrote in the caption, ‘My fav day. My fav man. #131 #WLF.’
The entertainer and her husband, who works as a cinematographer, marked 23 years of marriage on July 4th.
Moder celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary by sharing a sweet photo of him and his wife reflected in a silver spoon. He posted the picture with a message about their ‘silver’ anniversary and wished everyone a happy 4th of July.
The longtime couple share fraternal twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and son Henry, 18.
Last spring, actor Jason Momoa celebrated Mother’s Day by posting a picture of his wife and children, with the caption, ‘Moms create the best things. I love my family!’
I was so touched when the actress, who played the stepmom, used Instagram to share a sweet birthday message for her youngest child in June. It was a really lovely way to celebrate him!
She posted an old childhood photo of him with a sweet message: ‘It feels like just yesterday this wonderful boy was little, and now he’s 18! I love you, Henry. #goldenboy #goldenbirthday.’
The twins turned 21 in November, and their mom excitedly shared, ‘It feels like just yesterday they were one year old! These incredible kids have brought so much joy to my life. Happy Birthday, my loves!’
In September, she opened up about parenthood in an interview with longtime friend George Clooney.
The veteran actors had a conversation published in the inaugural issue of 72 Magazine.
Roberts shared openly about parenting, saying she and her husband have more firm rules and expectations for their children compared to most other families they know.
When asked about her children’s internet use growing up, the celebrity shared that her kids were among the last in their friend groups to receive phones and other devices.
She explained that when their children were younger, both she and Danny were fairly strict parents. They didn’t try to be overly controlling, but they did have clear, consistent rules.
Your limits are firm and won’t change. You’ll get a consistent answer from me – you won’t receive one response from me and then a different one from your father. That kind of inconsistency won’t occur, ever.
The actor explained that this creates a sense of stability, which in turn makes people feel secure, knowing there’s a constant, loving, and safe environment that doesn’t depend on anything else.
She also mentioned that all parents want their children to develop strong values as they grow up.
Danny and I have always shared the same fundamental beliefs, which is a big part of why we work so well together.
