Joker: Folie à Deux is now available to watch at home
As a seasoned gamer and film enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that the digital release of “Joker: Folie à Deux” has piqued my interest. The movie’s box office performance was less than impressive, but as we all know, not every masterpiece is immediately recognized for its greatness.
The film titled “Joker: Folie à Deux” can now be watched from home, as it earned a total of $201 million at the global box office.
In its initial releases, the follow-up to the DC series faced criticism from both critics and viewers, achieving an unenviable milestone during its opening and second weekends. However, with its digital launch, there’s hope that it might have another opportunity to impress audiences once more.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that you can now grab a copy or rent “Joker 2” from platforms like Prime Video and iTunes, along with other digital retailers, after its official release today, October 29, in the US. Enjoy the film!
In the UK, we’ll have to hold off a bit more, but rest assured, “Joker 2” will be digitally released at midnight on Monday, November 4. You can get ahead by pre-ordering it from Prime Video, iTunes, or Microsoft Store so you can watch it right when it becomes available.
For those who like having a tangible version of “Joker 2,” you also have the option to reserve the follow-up on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD before its UK debut. Additionally, there’s an exclusive 4K Steelbook up for pre-order exclusively at HMV.
Warner Bros has yet to confirm a release date for the physical release.
Since its premiere earlier this month, the ending of “Joker 2” has become the primary discussion topic among viewers, rather than its challenges at the box office.
In the last scene for Joaquin Phoenix’s character, there is a sense of “heartfelt affection,” even though the fate of Arthur Fleck turns out differently.
He shared that there was a young fellow attempting to share a joke with him, clearly anxious about it. He could sense his apprehension, and decided to give him a patient hearing.
Joker’s sequel “Folie à Deux” can be purchased or rented starting today on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and other platforms across the U.S. In the UK, it will be available for digital purchase on November 4th.
