Joe Sugg hits back at fake baby announcement and ‘AI malarkey’ as he confirms Dianne Buswell is ‘still very much pregnant’ after bizarre photo

Joe Sugg was forced to hit back after a fake baby announcement circulated online on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old YouTuber explained that his partner, Dianne Buswell, 36, is still expecting, despite a strange photo appearing online that he believes was created using artificial intelligence.

The couple is expecting a baby, and they shared the exciting news in September.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Joe just posted the most amazing thing! He was looking at this AI-generated image and he actually said he’s worried about people who grew up with Facebook and all this AI stuff! It’s like, he gets it, you know? He understands how weird and scary this all is, and he was pointing right at the fake image while he said it! I’m seriously obsessed with how perceptive he is!

In the video, he explained that many of his family and friends contacted him to say congratulations and express their disappointment that he hadn’t told them about the news before it appeared online.

‘This is AI. Look, that’s not me. I don’t know who that is, but it’s not me. I mean, I’d take it!’

He playfully admitted he wished he looked like that, but acknowledged it wasn’t realistic. ‘It’s not my chin or my hair,’ he added with a laugh.

‘That’s not Dianne. And that’s not our baby. Although, I do hope he’s that cute.’

Dianne then appeared on screen and added: ‘I am still very much pregnant.’

‘Yeah, he’s not here. It’s AI. Um, AI, it’s getting scary,’ Joe concluded.

This follows Dianne’s strong response to online critics who complained about her visible baby bump.

She’s been sharing her pregnancy journey online with humorous and down-to-earth videos, but some viewers haven’t agreed with her clothing style.

Throughout her pregnancy, the dancer has consistently worn outfits like crop tops, tied-up T-shirts, and sports bras, proudly showing off her baby bump.

Dianne responded to online criticism this week by sharing a TikTok video highlighting one of the comments she received: ‘But why do you always have your belly out?’ She posted the comment over a video of herself showing her baby bump.

Dianne posted a video of herself dancing to KC and the Sunshine Band’s “That’s the Way (I Like It)” with the caption, “Because that’s the way I like it!”

Dianne received an outpouring of support from fans after she faced criticism about her body. Many people online said women shouldn’t feel pressured to hide themselves and condemned the outdated views being expressed.

Dianne finished work last Wednesday, getting ready to welcome her baby soon.

Oh my gosh, they’ve been so busy getting ready for their little boy! And they’re just the sweetest, keeping all of us fans in the loop with everything happening during the pregnancy. I feel like I’m part of the journey with them, honestly!
