A new crime drama, praised for its realism and powerful story, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video in the UK. Called The Bikeriders, and starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy, the film is based on a photo book by Danny Lyon and tells a fictional story about a motorcycle club inspired by the real-life Outlaws MC, but known in the film as the Vandals.
Kathy, a determined woman, meets Benny at a bar and quickly becomes captivated by him. Benny is the newest member of the Vandals, a motorcycle club in the Midwest, and is led by the mysterious Johnny. As the club changes, Benny finds himself torn between his feelings for Kathy and his dedication to the Vandals.
Jeff Nichols wrote and directed The Bikeriders, which premiered at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival before being released in theaters. The film received generally positive feedback from both critics and audiences.

Digital Spy praised the film, calling it both “captivating” and “a cool, old-fashioned biker movie.”
The film deliberately avoids typical biker gang stereotypes. Instead, it focuses on showing the characters as complex individuals with a wide range of feelings and motivations, and the director clearly feels empathy for them.
