Jodie Comer keeps a low profile as she joins forces with Benedict Cumberbatch to film new BMW advert

Jodie Comer and Benedict Cumberbatch were spotted filming a BMW commercial in Spain on Saturday, keeping to themselves and avoiding attention.

The 33-year-old actress looked relaxed and comfortable in a loose-fitting shirt and a pair of flared blue jeans.

She finished her outfit with black and white shoes and carried her things in a black leather handbag.

Jodie completed her look with stylish black sunglasses and a shopping bag.

Meanwhile, Benedict stepped out in a white buttoned-up shirt, which he paired with black trousers.

He completed his outfit with comfortable sneakers, a black cap, and black sunglasses.

Benedict recently stepped out publicly after sharing that he had surgery to repair an injury he suffered while surfing.

The actor damaged his shoulder as a result of ‘overdoing’ his hobby.

He shared on the SmartLess podcast that he had surgery to address pain he’d been experiencing for more than a year.

He shared that he had a minor surgery and hasn’t been able to surf for around six months. However, he still really enjoys the sport.

‘It’s a long time of ill use and a lot of surfing in very bad conditions and overdoing it.

I initially injured my rotator cuff, and then developed a frozen shoulder as well. I didn’t realize I had the frozen shoulder until I went to get surgery for the complete tear in my rotator cuff.

‘I lived with chronic pain for about a year and a half.’

The actor discovered his passion for surfing in 2020 while filming ‘The Power of the Dog’ in New Zealand and was unable to leave the country due to the pandemic.

He said: ‘It was a bit scary to begin with, but utterly magical and extraordinary.

It turned out to be an incredible place to be. I learned to surf at a small beach break in Te Awanga, Hawke’s Bay, and I completely fell in love with it.

Benedict also loves how surfing brings together unlikely groups of people.

He explained that he was captivated by the beautiful coastline, the feeling of being connected to the ocean, and the strong sense of community and presence he experienced.

This unique community offers a sense of acceptance, but there’s one rule: don’t interfere with someone else’s surfing wave.

It was a real mix of people – you’d find drug dealers right alongside the police chief. It felt like you saw every side of life all in one place.

It’s impossible to describe the feeling of riding a wave to someone who’s never surfed. Being propelled by the ocean towards the shore is pure magic when you get it right.
