Jimmy Bullard and David Haye claim they were removed from the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ finale following a heated argument with Adam Thomas during Friday night’s show.
As Jimmy and David left the ITV studios with security nearby, fans overheard them talking about being asked to leave.
‘We’ve been kicked out the show. What’s that about? Genuinely’, David said.
Speaking to someone on the phone, David said: ‘Jimmy tell them what happened?’
Jimmy replied: ‘We got kicked out.’
Asked by a fan: ‘Why have you been kicked out?’, David responded: ‘For trying to tell the truth.’
After the historic match, they waited for their rides home, completely absorbed in their phones.
Jimmy and David’s conversation about being kicked out was filmed in a video obtained by The Sun.
A source from the show revealed to Daily Mail that some contestants felt awkward sharing the stage with David and Jimmy, leading to their removal during the ‘Unpacked’ segment.
As Ant McPartlin left the studios, he had an uncomfortable encounter with Jimmy while walking home with his wife, Anne-Marie Corbett.
Ant seemed unbothered by Jimmy’s attempts to talk to him, and a security guard eventually intervened.
Last year, on a pre-recorded show, former footballer Jimmy claimed Adam was behaving in a threatening and hostile way, using strong language. Boxer David then countered that Adam was pretending to be the one who was wronged.
Adam and David didn’t get along well while filming in the jungle last September. David was criticized for what some called ‘bullying’ after he called Adam ‘useless’ when Adam stepped out of a challenge because he wasn’t feeling well.
Things got chaotic during the live finale when Gemma Collins and Sinitta angrily walked off stage, and hosts Ant and Dec had trouble regaining control.
After Adam reportedly used a highly offensive slur against Jimmy during a heated argument that led to the show being cancelled last year, Jimmy was given a chance to respond.
Jimmy explained he was leaving the show due to personal issues and revealed that he wouldn’t have been paid in full unless he said the show’s catchphrase during a challenge.
Jimmy acknowledged he made a mistake and upset people by blaming someone else. However, he firmly stated he won’t tolerate abusive, aggressive, or intimidating behavior.
Jimmy invited Ant and Dec to give their thoughts, then pointed out that they hadn’t included the relevant footage when they were presenting it themselves.
‘You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty’, Jimmy fumed.
Ant explained that they didn’t broadcast the offensive language because it’s not allowed on air. He also clarified that he was present during the incident and didn’t find it threatening, reiterating to Jim that he witnessed it firsthand.
Adam stated that he fully accepts responsibility for what happened, and acknowledged that everyone involved was feeling very emotional at the time.
I genuinely care about Jimmy and feel bad about what happened. I’ve apologized to him several times, and I’m listening to his concerns. All I can do now is offer my sincere apologies again.
I wasn’t comfortable presenting myself that way, and I haven’t done so before or since. I apologize, Jimmy.
David made a joking comment, but Ant and Dec quickly told him to stop talking over them.
David explained that he prefers to be honest and straightforward. He believes things have been manipulated to portray Adam as a victim in order to gain public sympathy.
We definitely exchanged some playful teasing, though a lot of what they said was left on the cutting room floor. Now, I think it’s time to share what really happened.
Sinitta angrily left the stage and shouted to the audience, explaining that they hadn’t experienced what she had. She described the situation as intensely aggressive and abusive, saying it had left her shaken.
Jimmy raised his voice, insisting that an apology from Adam didn’t excuse aggressive, abusive, or intimidating behavior. He refused to accept Ant’s claim that it hadn’t been aggressive, demanding they review the interaction immediately and let everyone judge for themselves. He wanted to see the evidence and have it played for all to witness.
Ant and Dec wrapped up: ‘Right, let’s leave it there. We’ll agree to disagree Jim.’
