Jessica Marais’ ex Jake Holly marries boyfriend in off-the-shoulder gown

Jessica Marais’ ex-boyfriend, Jake Holly, got married last month to his partner, Wayne, in a memorable ceremony.

The photographer, who was previously linked to a star from the TV show ‘Packed To The Rafters’ back in 2018, tied the knot with his husband, Wayne, in a small, private ceremony in Sydney on February 21st.

Jake posted photos on Instagram Tuesday showing him and his partner getting married in the city, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge visible behind them.

In a photo, the newly married couple stood together on a wooden pier, looking at each other with affection. They were both wearing outfits in shades of gold, black, and olive.

Jake stunned in an off-the-shoulder olive-green gown with a thigh-high split and strappy heels.

He finished the fairytale look with a sparkling tiara, and lots of gold and silver jewelry made sure he stood out.

His husband looked incredibly stylish in a gold, corset-like top, black tailored trousers, and a striking feathered train.

I was so touched by the photos from their wedding! There was one of Jake and Wayne sharing their first kiss as husband and husband – pure joy! And another really sweet moment where Jake was gently touching Wayne’s face while Wayne held a beautiful bunch of pale roses. It was such a tender and loving scene.

Captioning the post, Jake wrote: ‘Home was a place, now it’s a person.’ 

Promising forever feels like a big commitment, but even a lifetime with you wouldn’t be long enough. February 21st, 2026.

It’s been seven years since Jessica Marais and her ex-boyfriend Jake Holly split.

But it appears the photographer and the former Packed To The Rafters star are still good mates. 

Previously, Jessica, 41, shared a photograph of her freshly dyed hair to social media.

Jake commented underneath the image, writing ‘Miss you xx’ just one hour after she posted it. 

This is not the first time the two have been friendly since their split. 

In March 2021, Jessica and her former partner spent a day at Coogee Beach, and Jake posted a picture of them together on his Instagram Stories.

The two people in the photo were close together, both smiling and looking comfortable with each other.

Jessica was wearing a green sweater and a pink backpack, and raindrops dotted her clothes.

Jake captioned the sweet photo of the pair together: ‘Rainy day catch ups’. 

The couple reportedly broke up in 2018, the year they first revealed their relationship after seeing Sam Smith perform at a Nova’s Red Room event.

Jake moved to the US in 2019, but he’s since come back home and remained friends with his former partner.

In August 2020, the singer posted a cozy photo with Jake on Instagram, showing them relaxing together on a Sydney beach.

Jake was believed to have been supporting her as she mourned the death of her mother, Karen. 

In 2018, Woman’s Day reported that the couple had broken up and decided to remain friends.
