Jennifer Lopez reveals her ‘best onscreen kisser’ Brett Goldstein wrote rom-com Office Romance for her

Jennifer Lopez was offered the lead female role in the upcoming movie, Office Romance, without needing to audition. The film was co-written by her co-star, Brett Goldstein, and Joe Kelly, who is known for co-creating Ted Lasso.

I was so thrilled when they sent me the script! They actually told me they’d written it specifically with me in mind, which honestly meant the world. I heard it on SiriusXM’s BPM on Saturday – it was such a special moment.

‘”If you don’t do it, we’re not even making the movie.”‘

The 45-year-old actor was focused on the romantic connection between his character and another. He played Daniel Blanchflower, a charming lawyer, who becomes attracted to Jackie Cruz, the CEO of Air Cruz, even though her company forbids relationships between employees.

Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel, despite an eleven-year age difference, are expected to have a captivating connection in the new romantic comedy directed by Ol Parker, which will be available on Netflix starting June 5th.

‘It has, like, hard jokes,’ the Save Me Tonight singer noted.

‘It’s, like, a little bit edgier than a normal JLo rom-com in a way.’

And if the characters wind up wedding, it will mark Lopez’s 10th time playing a bride in a movie.

I’m so excited about the cast for ‘Office Romance’! Not only will we get to see the leads, but they’ve assembled an absolutely incredible supporting cast – Betty Gilpin, Edward James Olmos, Bradley Whitford, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, and even Jackie Sandler are all going to be in it! I can’t wait to see what they all bring to the film.

Okay, so everyone’s been asking about those two co-stars! Let me tell you, the buzz is definitely real. I’m hearing from sources that since filming finished, they’ve become really close – like, really close. Apparently, they were constantly touching, laughing, and just generally seemed to have a connection. Honestly, people on set were pretty convinced something was going on between them!

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on October 15th, Lopez revealed her favorite actor to kiss in a movie. She said Brett Goldstein, who she recently filmed a movie with, was the best.

The actor who co-created ‘The Shrinking’ has always kept his personal life private when it comes to relationships. Jennifer Lopez, on the other hand, has gone through four marriages and divorces and is a mother to two grown children.

The Grammy-nominated artist is hoping for a successful project after their recent films didn’t perform well financially. “Unstoppable” made just under $4,000 in theaters before becoming available on Prime Video, and “The Kiss of the Spider Woman” earned only $2 million despite costing $30 million to produce.

Jennifer Lopez is set to star in the Netflix thriller, The Last Mrs. Parrish, and will also produce a new Bob the Builder series for Amazon MGM Studios.

Before becoming known as Diddy’s ex-girlfriend – and gaining recognition for her role in the 1997 film Selena – she began her career in 1991 as a dancer on the Fox sketch comedy show In Living Color. Two years later, in 1993, she danced as a backup performer for Janet Jackson.

Goldstein attended the New York City premiere of his new movie, The Sheep Detectives, at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Sunday.

The Emmy-winning actor provided the voices for twin sheep named Reggie and Ronnie in the new comedy mystery film directed by Kyle Balda. The movie, which also stars Hugh Jackman, Emma Thompson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, and Patrick Stewart, will be released in the US and UK on May 8th.

Comedian Roy Wood Jr. is performing his Sex, Death and Small Talk show at the Tarrytown Music Hall in New York on May 3rd.

Comedian Brett Goldstein returned to his popular role as Roy Kent, a seasoned midfielder, in the fourth season of the hit Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso. He also wrote and produced the new season, which is set to premiere this summer.

Goldstein is also working on two other films: the drama At the Sea, directed by Kornél Mundruczó, and a romantic comedy called Escorted for Amazon Prime Video.
