On the occasion of her 43rd birthday, Jenna Bush Hager was pictured alongside her oldest lookalike daughter, Mila, in a series of delightful family photographs.

On a memorable day, the television host, about to debut a fresh program entitled “Today with Jenna & Friends” following Hoda Kotb’s exit, posted two selfies on her primary Instagram account.

In this single photo, Jenna displayed a radiant grin, with an 11-year-old standing by her side, clutching a platter filled with sweet, sugary cupcakes.

Mila, along with their daughters Poppy (age 9) and Hal (age 5), are also shared by Mila’s spouse, Henry Chase Hager, who they married in 2008.

Additionally, the author’s other offspring contributed to the joyous occasion by assisting in celebrating Jenna’s birthday.

In one scene, it looks like they assembled within what seemed to be a kitchen area. In another photo, Jenna is depicted extinguishing a candle perched atop one of the cupcakes.

In the post’s heading, the NBC presenter expressed gratitude to her audience by writing, “I’m feeling incredibly thankful for all your affection…absorbing it deeply.

‘As someone wrote to me today, hoping I slow it all down a little so I can appreciate every single second. Thanks for it all.’ 

On Monday, as she celebrated her first birthday since becoming a mother of three, she unveiled the special present her children had given her, during her appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna.

During our conversation on Tuesday’s show, I shared that I was gifted a mix of birthday vouchers by the gracious personality you know as Kotb.

The journalist said, ‘They created a poster stating that each of them was providing me with coupons.’

Hal typically retires early to bed. Originally, Poppy suggested a foot massage for him, but later changed her mind, finding the idea of giving him a foot massage unpleasant. Instead, she offered a hand massage.

Jenna added that Mila’s birthday coupon included a total of ‘Four free babysitting moments.’ 

Reflecting back on the special occasion, I shared with Hoda that my dear ones orchestrated a stunning surprise by temporarily stepping aside to let it unfold.

Regarding those charming snapshots, Kotb commented, “That particular photo you displayed captures the essence of your everyday life so well – it’s the five of you, the shared joy of cupcakes, and perhaps a moment of emotional intensity.

Jenna humorously replied with, ‘Hal was having a little bit of a meltdown.’ 

In the second picture, her son was found seated on her lap, facing away from the camera.

Yet, she characterized her 43rd birthday as incredibly enjoyable, and couldn’t help but express her deep sense of gratitude towards everyone in her life.

‘Birthdays make me feel grateful for my good fortune. That’s the feeling I had.’ or simply ‘Birthdays remind me of my luck.’

On the program airing on Monday, Bush Hager (daughter of George W. Bush and Laura Bush) celebrated her 43rd birthday by spending time with fellow host Hoda Kotb.

The celebrity received sparkling champagne and flowers as gifts, and Jenna confided in Kotb that she’s currently experiencing pre-menopause.

She then shared the gift that she received from her husband, Henry, and stated, ‘We put up our Christmas tree last night, and [my husband] Henry [Hager] did something very sweet for me.’

He organized a dinner gathering with a murder mystery theme, which I have long desired to host, allowing guests to participate in solving a mystery.

Responding to Kotb’s question about the game winner, Jenna said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t recall because the game isn’t about winning or losing. Instead, it centers around determining who gets killed.

He understood that I had been eager to do it all along, and it turned out to be a blast! Consequently, we marked the occasion, and here we are on this fine Monday, taking it easy.

On Monday, Barbara Pierce Bush, Jenna’s twin sister, celebrated her 43rd birthday as well.

As Thanksgiving nears, Jenna shared her arrangements for the upcoming festivities this week.

On the Wednesday preceding Thanksgiving, let’s organize a shared celebration for the children. Isn’t it sweet of us to have parties on their birthdays? They’ll get to enjoy themselves. Mila is eager to bake a cake for the occasion.

Previously, Jenna has shared insights into co-parenting with Henry, and last August, they discussed this matter on Today with Hoda & Jenna as reported by Decider.

The TV host shared that they primarily focus their time as a parent on nurturing compassionate children, giving little attention to other matters.

Instead of focusing on their academic achievements, such as being at the top of their class or attending prestigious schools, what truly matters to me is raising children who embody kindness.

Apart from her recent festivities due to her birthday, Jenna has remained quite active, as she takes on hosting duties for the Today show.

Approximately four months from now, on January 10, 2025, it has been confirmed that Hoda Kotb will be leaving the Today show. Later, she disclosed the primary cause of her departure was to focus on her two children.

Craig Melvin takes over from Kotb, while Bush Hager will front her own fourth-hour program, “Today with Jenna & Friends.” This show will feature a variety of guest hosts filling in until a permanent one is chosen.
