On a tranquil Tuesday, the 42-year-old decided to post a picture on Instagram, capturing her relaxing on a picturesque beach in the enchanting city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

In 2019, I stumbled upon an old photograph of mine featuring Jelena perched on a rugged coastline, gazing out across the shimmering, crystalline expanse of water.

With her back to camera, Jelena showed off her svelte form in an electric blue two piece bikini.

As a devoted devotee, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming respite, especially a delightful sojourn in the heart of the enchanting European summer. (Jelena’s original statement: Jelena said she was looking forward to some much-needed time off, including a European summer.)

Even though I’m working harder than usual and really enjoying it, I’m excitedly looking forward to my upcoming weekend off after seven long weeks. Plus, I can hardly wait for July and the summer vacation in Europe! My motivation level is high!

Jelena has been sharing her weight-loss journey with her fans over the past few months.

In March, the commentator named Nine posted a split picture illustrating her weight loss journey, with one side depicting her earlier self and the other showcasing her transformed figure afterwards.

Captioning the photo, Jelena offered an inspirational sentiment about body positivity.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “Upon initial observation, these two images appear to be identical in all aspects, but upon closer inspection, one notices that they merely represent different body sizes.

I remain consistently dedicated, considerate, generous, understanding, compassionate, modest, friendly, ambitious, robust, adaptable, powerful, tenacious, and affectionate – as a person, a woman, and a friend.

‘What really matters is not different.’

Jelena urged her followers to look beyond the superficial and not judge people based on their size.

‘Instead, appreciate and focus on what is on the inside,’ Jelena wrote.

True beauty isn’t just skin deep; it lies within your character. It’s all about the impact you have on people, particularly how you uplift them and foster positive feelings about themselves.

A gentle heart outshines all other forms of beauty. Strive to perceive people by their inner selves, rather than their physical appearances. Always refrain from criticizing or belittling others based on their physical appearance.

More recently, it’s been disclosed that Jelena shed approximately 44 pounds over a span of ten months, following a struggle with eating disorders for about twenty years.

On Instagram in June, the commentator posted a side-by-side comparison of her present self with how she appeared in 2023.

In the description, she emphasized her happiness in both photos, noting that losing weight wasn’t the primary objective, but rather an unintended consequence of adopting healthier lifestyle choices.

‘This is about HEALTH and not SIZE,’ she continued. 

I’ve been asked numerous questions regarding my improved health, an outcome that includes shedding some pounds. It wasn’t my intention to focus on weight loss; instead, it’s a natural consequence of taking better care of myself.

Some have warned about the risks of rapid dieting, yet Jelena countered by saying: “I didn’t shed pounds swiftly. Instead, it took me close to ten months to lose 20 kg. There was nothing hasty about it.

Jelena told us that she had shed some pounds due to her family’s history of diabetes and more recently discovering that she has high blood pressure.

Apart from that, she shared her method: “I ceased consuming meals late in the evening, particularly foods such as burgers, pizzas, french fries, and desserts. These types of food left me feeling quite lethargic upon waking up.
