Okay, so this is kind of sad news – Jason Biggs, you know, from “American Pie,” and his wife, Jenny Mollen, who’s also an actress and writer, are getting divorced. Apparently, they’ve been married for 18 years. I just heard the news and wanted to share it – it’s always tough when you hear about couples splitting up after so long.
The couple is doing well and continues to prioritize raising their two sons, according to a representative who shared the update on Thursday.
Jason Biggs, now 48, and his wife, Jenny Mollen, 46, married in a private ceremony in April 2008. The couple first met the year before, in 2007, while working on the movie “My Best Friend’s Girl,” a romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson and Dane Cook that was nominated for a Razzie Award.

Two weeks ago, Jenny Mollen shared a video on Instagram showing her in what appeared to be a first-class airplane seat, with a plastic bag partially covering her head.
In 2018, actor Justin Biggs celebrated ten years of marriage to Jenny Mollen with a sweet Instagram post from Paris. He called marrying her the best decision of his life and playfully estimated they had another five or six decades together. He shared a selfie of the couple with the caption, “I love you, @jennyandteets2.”
According to a source who spoke with People magazine, the former couple is still very close and will likely continue to have a good relationship as they co-parent their children.
Raising their sons, 12-year-old Sid and 8-year-old Lazlo, is sure to bring plenty of unexpected moments – like the time Mollen discovered she had lice during a five-hour flight. It turned out the boys had it too, though Mollen jokingly blamed an unknown woman for starting the infestation. Luckily, Biggs only had a couple of lice eggs on him, Mollen shared.
For example, on Wednesday, she shared a picture of Sid’s homework online and admitted she found it funny when his description of the class included some unexpected, childish swearing.

There’s a new little one in the Biggs household!
It feels like just yesterday my boys needed me for absolutely everything – even a trip to the bathroom! They still rely on me to help them navigate the world, explaining things in a way they can understand before the morning rush. We have our own little world, a secret language even my husband doesn’t fully grasp. But these little guys, who used to cling to me for everything, are growing up so fast. It’s bittersweet, because I know eventually they won’t need me like this anymore, and the thought breaks my heart a little.
She now realizes why her mother-in-law was so upset when she and Biggs announced their wedding.
It’s a strange feeling, isn’t it? We pour so much of ourselves into raising our kids, becoming their whole world for years. Then, slowly, they start building a life that doesn’t revolve around us as much. But honestly, if we’ve done things right, that’s exactly what should happen. They’re meant to grow and move on, and that’s a good thing, even if it’s a little bittersweet.
