James Bond ‘will start shooting new film by the end of the year’ as insiders say 007 announcement is imminent

A new James Bond movie is expected to begin filming before the year ends, and an announcement about the next 007 is coming soon.

Ever since Daniel Craig finished his run as James Bond with the film No Time to Die in 2021, everyone’s been guessing who will be the next 007. Right now, actor Jacob Elordi is the frontrunner according to betting odds.

After 25 movies and six actors playing James Bond, the hugely successful spy series was sold by its longtime producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, to Amazon MGM for around £1 billion last February.

Filming for the next movie is expected to begin in late autumn or early winter this year.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m telling you, the search for the next James Bond is officially ON! The rumor mill is already spinning about who will take over the iconic role, and everyone’s buzzing about who will be holding that Walther PPK and earning their ‘Licence to Kill’. It’s an exciting time for fans!

Because the movie is being made with Prime Video, it could be released in theaters and on the streaming service at the same time, or very close together.

According to The Sun, this is the first time something like that has occurred in the 64-year history of the James Bond franchise.

Daily Mail has contacted Prime Video for comment.

Jacob Elordi is now the frontrunner to become the next James Bond, taking the lead in the race to replace Daniel Craig.

The 28-year-old actor, known for his role in Wuthering Heights, is celebrating the positive reception of Emerald Fennell’s new film adaptation, where he plays the character of Heathcliff.

And his surging popularity appears to have impacted his odds at becoming the next James Bond.

Although he was a long shot just two weeks ago, Jacob is now the frontrunner to take over from Daniel Craig in the next film.

Following the premiere of Wuthering Heights, Jacob is now the frontrunner to land the role, with odds of 5/4. He’s overtaken Callum Turner, the previously favored English actor, whose odds have shifted from 7/10 to 6/4.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James round off the top four in the running.

In the last 12 hours, most bets have been placed on Jacob, with 56% of bettors supporting him.

Oddschecker has significantly improved Jacob’s chances, shortening his odds from 6/1 to 5/4 overnight. This now makes him the new frontrunner, surpassing Callum, who was previously the favorite.

According to William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps, Jacob Elordi has quickly become the frontrunner to be the next James Bond. There’s been a significant shift in betting odds over the last day, placing him as the clear favorite.

Last month, Jacob Elordi wasn’t a frontrunner for the part, but his odds dramatically improved from 14-to-1 to 4-to-1 last week after the premiere of ‘Wuthering Heights’.

The odds have shifted again this morning, and Australian actor is now the favorite to be the next James Bond, moving ahead of Callum Turner who was previously the frontrunner.

Following the success of ‘Wuthering Heights’, Margot Robbie is now a strong contender to play the next Bond girl, with current odds at 6 to 1.

Okay, so I’ve been totally tracking the next James Bond odds, and for weeks Callum Turner was the clear frontrunner, my absolute top pick! But get this – everything’s changed! A new actor has suddenly jumped ahead, and honestly, it’s thrown everything into chaos. I need to know who it is now!

‘Jacob Elordi is now 5/4, cut from 6/1 to take the role ahead of Turner (6/4).’

Over the past 12 hours, bettors have overwhelmingly supported Elordi, with 56% of all bets placed on the actor known for his role in ‘Frankenstein’.

Callum Turner remains a popular choice, and second only to Jacob Elordi, receiving 20% of all bets placed on who will be the next James Bond.

Wuthering Heights earned a strong US$76.8 million (about £56 million) worldwide during its first weekend in theaters.

Emerald Fennell’s new romantic drama reimagines Emily Brontë’s classic novel, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as the ill-fated lovers Catherine and Heathcliff.

The new film, despite being controversial, earned $34.8 million at North American box offices during its opening weekend, making it the highest-grossing debut of the year so far.
