Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s Clovelly dream home takes shape amid $82million radio showdown

Despite a potentially expensive legal battle with her previous company, ARN, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is still pursuing her plans for her dream home.

Recent photos taken from the air reveal that 51-year-old Henderson is building a very large home in Clovelly, a suburb of Sydney by the coast.

Construction has started on a third floor for the large mansion, building upwards from its extensive concrete foundation.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to see this house really coming into its own! It’s evolving from a standard home into a stunning coastal retreat. We’ve just finished installing a gorgeous, resort-style concrete pool, and the framework is now up for the next exciting stage of the build – it’s going to be absolutely incredible!

Henderson has been actively involved in rebuilding her life, even appearing at the construction site several times while dealing with her legal issues.

Last month, Henderson was seen at the house with her friend Steve Cordony, a well-known interior designer.

Henderson and Cordony appeared focused and professional while checking on the house’s construction, with the well-known radio personality sharing her plans for the finished home.

Once the renovations are finished, the house is predicted to be worth around $30 million. Jackie is currently living in a rented property with her daughter, Kitty, while dealing with public attention following her exit from The Kyle & Jackie O Show and the legal issues that followed.

Okay, so you won’t BELIEVE this! Henderson, my absolute fave, bought this incredible place back in 2023 – a seriously amazing property, let me tell you. And then, get this, he’s planning a HUGE makeover, like a $5 million transformation! I’ve been tracking every little detail, and it’s going to be epic. I can’t wait to see it all come together!

The property, boasting beautiful ocean views, had an old six-bedroom house from the 1960s demolished, creating a large, clear space ready for a major construction project.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this place! It’s right on the cliff, overlooking the ocean in Clovelly – it’s the most amazing beachside area, and only about 9km from the city centre. I’ve been dreaming of a place like this forever!

Henderson snapped up the property in March 2023 for a massive $13.25million at an open auction.

The house is situated away from the road, giving Henderson the privacy she lacked at her previous home on a busy street.

Henderson recently purchased a new home after making a $2 million profit from selling her previous property in Woollahra, which she had bought for $11 million in 2020.

She posted pictures last year of herself with the construction workers, playfully labeling one ‘Site meeting’.

Newly released court documents show Henderson had been raising concerns with KIIS management about her then-co-host, Kyle Sandilands, six months before their falling out became public.

The information came to light in a court document filed as part of Henderson’s lawsuit against ARN Media, the company that owns KIIS, regarding the cancellation of her $100 million contract.

Court records show that Henderson began discussing Kyle Sandilands’ conduct with KIIS network leaders Derek Bargwanna and Natalie Penfold around the middle of 2025, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Complaints started on August 20th after Sandilands used offensive language to dismiss Henderson’s professional opinions and reportedly made personal attacks during a live radio show.

During the broadcast, he expressed concern that she might not find someone, stating, ‘I worry you’ll never find anyone.’ He also pointed out that her values and expectations wouldn’t align with everyone, saying, ‘Your reality isn’t everyone’s reality.’ Finally, he encouraged her to discard limiting beliefs and embrace dating freely, suggesting, ‘Why don’t you just get rid of all this baggage and go out and date and let everyone be free?’

He also referred to her ‘period time’.

After those remarks, Henderson stepped away from the live broadcast for a moment. Then, Bargwanna and Penfold went to check on her and discuss what Sandilands had said.

Three weeks after the show began, the co-hosts had a disagreement on the air, though Henderson says some of Sandilands’ remarks were removed before broadcast.

Last month, Henderson joined her previous KIIS FM colleague, Kyle Sandilands, in suing their former employer, ARN.

She claims her contract was ended illegally, violating the Fair Work Act, and she is seeking at least $82.25 million in damages.

She is also seeking payment of a pecuniary penalty plus interest and costs.

Henderson has taken legal action in federal court against the Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, which is owned by ARN, the company that also owns KIIS 1065.

She is claiming that the termination of her contract ‘constituted adverse action.’

As a workplace wellness advocate, I’ve been following the situation with Henderson and Kyle Sandilands closely. She formally complained to the CBC, stating she felt unable to continue working with him. Her complaint detailed concerns about his behavior – specifically, issues relating to psychological health and safety, and what she considers bullying, both leading up to and including February 20th, 2026. It’s a serious situation highlighting the importance of a respectful and safe work environment.

She believes she had the right to raise this issue as an employee, and her firing was a direct result of doing so – something that would violate the Fair Work Act.

Henderson alleges that ARN violated Australian Consumer Law by making false and misleading statements when they publicly announced her departure on March 3rd.

Henderson disputed a statement from ARN claiming she resigned from her radio show. On March 6th, she released a statement saying there had been a lot of incorrect information circulating about why she left the show.

‘I want to make one important point very clear: I did not quit or resign.’

ARN says it denies the claims and will fight the case in court.

Sandilands filed his own lawsuit against ARN in the Federal Court on March 23.

ARN cancelled the $200 million contract for the duo after Kyle Sandilands criticized Tanya Henderson on air for being overly interested in astrology.

Henderson protested that it wasn’t fair and left the studio crying, ultimately leading to the cancellation of her $100 million contract.

On March 3rd, just under two weeks later, Sandilands received a letter from ARN claiming he had made hurtful and disrespectful comments to Henderson. The letter detailed accusations that he attacked her character, criticized her work, and questioned her performance at her job.

ARN argued that Sandilands’ remarks weren’t meant as a joke, but instead showed clear animosity towards Henderson, deliberately aiming to upset and cause her distress.
