The three-part drama Quiz, which aired on ITV in 2020 and dramatizes the cheating scandal on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, is now available to stream on Netflix after being added over the weekend.
The show tells the story of Charles Ingram, a former army major, who is persuaded by his wife and brother-in-law to try out for a popular British quiz show after their own attempts to win end in failure.
Despite not being a strong quizzer, Charles somehow won a million pounds. But their win quickly led to trouble, as the team was accused of cheating and taken to court.

Directed by Stephen Frears, known for The Queen and A Very English Scandal, and based on a play by James Graham, Quiz features a talented cast including Matthew Macfadyen, Sian Clifford, Mark Bonnar, Helen McCrory, Aisling Bea, Michael Jibson, and Martin Trenaman. Michael Sheen portrays Chris Tarrant in the series.
It originally aired during the early days of the COVID pandemic, and was a big hit at the time.

The show Quiz received positive reviews, though currently only three have been recorded on Rotten Tomatoes.
Reviewers praised the movie Quiz, with A Good Movie to Watch calling it a captivating and cleverly ambiguous film, and Loud and Clear Reviews describing it as thoroughly enjoyable.
In a review for The Guardian, Michael Sheen’s portrayal of Chris Tarrant was praised as remarkably accurate. The reviewer noted that his performance was so convincing, you could easily believe you were listening to the real Tarrant just by hearing his voice.

According to Empire, the show Quiz feels surprisingly relevant today by reminding us of how the media used to create public scandals – a practice that’s become even more common with social media. It brings a story from almost 20 years ago into the current conversation.
Honestly, the show doesn’t really try to prove if Ingram and the others actually cheated. It lays out both sides pretty evenly. But it makes you think… even if they didn’t, does it even matter anymore? Everyone already believes they did, and that’s become the reality, right?
Okay, so good news for anyone wanting to check out Quiz! You can now find it on Netflix, but it’s still up on ITVX too. Just a heads-up, ITVX is free, but you’ll have to deal with ads unless you upgrade.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant, full-colour 100-page magazine celebrating Taylor Swift, is now available! You can purchase it at newsagents or online for only £8.99.
