Greg Davies and Alex Horne are a beloved TV pairing, especially known for their work on Taskmaster. However, Davies has admitted to being genuinely annoyed by one of Horne’s habits.
Throughout much of the Channel 4 show, Davies playfully teases his co-host, affectionately calling him ‘Little Alex Horne’. In an interview with Metro, Davies admitted, possibly with a wink, that there’s a bit of truth to their playful back-and-forth.
It really bothers me, honestly. I think he intentionally tries to provoke me to get me going for a role. He’ll just say random things – stuff that isn’t funny or doesn’t make sense – and it genuinely gets under my skin.

Davies described how he playfully gets back at someone, explaining that his scoring choices are a form of payback. He enjoys subtly frustrating this person by, for example, giving two contestants the same score, which visibly irritates them because they prefer clear, defined categories.
The popular comedy quiz show is currently airing its 21st series, with Joanna Page, Armando Iannucci, Amy Gledhill, Joel Dommett, and Kumail Nanjiani competing to win the title of champion.

By March, filming for the next season was nearly finished, and creator Horne hinted that an Academy Award-winning actor – whose name hasn’t been announced – will appear in season 23.
The popular comedy show Taskmaster is expanding globally! Polish television network TVN has commissioned a local version, building on the show’s already impressive success.

“To be honest, things have gotten a little wild,” Horne admitted. “But I’m still excited that Polish audiences will finally get to see their best comedians completely abandon their pride in a bid to win over the Polish equivalent of Greg Davies.”
Avalon’s Head of Distribution, Paula Warwick, expressed excitement about working with TVN and Constantin to launch Taskmaster in Poland. She explained that the show’s consistently funny format and reliable humor are the reasons it’s become so popular worldwide.
Taskmaster airs and streams on Channel 4.
