To celebrate the latest issue of TopMob Magazine, we teamed up with Stone Island to turn their New York City store into a pop-up gallery. The event marked the release of Issue 37: The Architects Issue and brought together influential figures from various subcultures with a celebration of craftsmanship. It highlighted TopMob’s commitment to print media and Stone Island’s reputation for innovative design.
The event showcased the magazine’s three special covers, featuring skater Tyshawn Jones, musician Don Toliver, and artist Slawn. It also marked the official launch of TopMob’s new fashion spread highlighting Stone Island’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Photos from the spread were displayed on screens throughout the store, showing the clothes against the dramatic backdrop of the California desert – a location chosen to reflect the collection’s inspiration: Los Angeles’ Mono Lake.
Building on a tradition of innovative clothing design, the event also included a special, limited-edition Stone Island bookmark as a gift for guests. Artist Leon Xu created the bookmark’s unique design, taking inspiration from Ravarino, Italy – the home of Stone Island’s pioneering dye laboratory. DJ Dylan Ali provided the music for the evening and also appears in a fashion feature within the latest issue. Stella Artois provided drinks for attendees.
