Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke reveals ‘regret’ over taking herself out of late father’s will

Brooke Hogan has shared that she regrets removing herself from her father, Hulk Hogan’s, will before he died.

The 37-year-old TV personality, who wasn’t close to the former WWE star before he passed away, recently opened up about their relationship on the Hollywood Raw podcast.

Hogan passed away in July 2025 at 71 years old, and it was later determined that he died of a heart attack.

In 2023, Brooke removed herself from her father Hogan’s will. She clarified that her regret isn’t about the money, but rather being excluded from decisions regarding his estate and not receiving updates about it.

‘Do I regret that decision? Yes,’ she told the podcast host.

Brooke explained that removing herself from the will wasn’t about the money, as she’s never been motivated by that, but rather something else entirely…

The host chimed to offer, ‘Not having a seat at the table for decisions being made?’

She responded, saying she was perfectly capable of obtaining autopsy reports. She also noted the irony of being treated as if she had legally become independent, now that the situation had changed.

I realized that whether you stop speaking to someone for two days or two years, the length of time doesn’t really change anything.

Like all families, we have our ups and downs. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m his daughter, and it doesn’t make me any less important than my brother, Nick,” she explained.

Brooke then said that she feels like she is now ‘treated like I’m an outsider.’

She also explained her reasoning for removing herself from Hogan’s will back in 2023.

I found myself in some frightening situations, and honestly, I removed myself from the will because I was genuinely worried about my own safety, and the safety of my family.

Hogan’s daughter explained that no amount of money could have made up for what she was going through.

I knew several people who weren’t good influences on my dad, and I tried to warn him. But I was afraid that speaking up would put me in a dangerous situation, and that’s honestly how I felt.

I recently spoke with Brooke about a difficult topic – her late father’s will. It came up that he left an estate of around $5 million, and she wasn’t included as a beneficiary. It’s a really sensitive situation, and she’s been openly discussing it.

‘His decision is no surprise to me,’ the mom-of-two told TMZ at the time.

This is exactly what I wanted, and I’m completely happy with my decision. I’ve been independent and working hard for a long time, and my dad understands that.

Hogan’s son, Nick, is the only person who will inherit his estate. Hogan and his first wife, Linda Claridge, had two children: Brooke and Nick, who is 35 years old.

Brooke recently told Page Six she regrets removing herself from her father’s will, in an article published on Friday.

I always looked after my dad and loved him deeply – that was always very clear.

She added, ‘The reason why I regret it, is because I do not have a place now to get answers.’

Brooke described the inability to manage things related to her late father and his life’s work as a deeply distressing experience.

She explained that she felt powerless to help her father now that he was gone, unable to get answers about his death or seek any kind of justice for him.

It’s even worse now because the very people I was trying to escape are now in charge.

She also claimed to Page Six that she is not on speaking terms with her younger brother.

Brooke explained she wants to help ensure decisions about Hulk are made with respect for his character and to preserve his positive legacy.

‘So, you know, there’s things I would definitely be doing differently if I were back in that seat.’

Before his passing, Hulk Hogan faced several controversies, including the release of audio recordings where he used offensive racial language when speaking about Brooke Hogan’s former boyfriend.

She shared a heartfelt message on social media shortly after her father passed away, honoring his memory.

I carry my father within me – his strength flows in my blood, and I see his spirit reflected in my children. Our connection was unbreakable, lasting even until his last breath. It was a bond beyond explanation, a connection that felt like it existed for many lifetimes.

I’m truly thankful I got to know the real him, beyond the image he presented to everyone else.

Brooke explained that they had a deep and special connection, obvious to everyone who saw them together.

She shared that she felt a deep loss after his death, saying a part of her spirit went with him, but also found comfort in knowing he was now at peace.

He often talked about this moment, filled with excitement and optimism. He felt it was the most important and fulfilling experience of his life, even more meaningful than winning any competition.

Brooke also wrote, ‘My dad and I didn’t have arguments. It was just a lot of private conversations that nobody else will ever know about.’

This week, she posted a moving tribute to her father on Instagram, marking nine months since he passed away.

Brooke shared a black-and-white drawing of Hogan being held, and posted a heartfelt message with it: ‘If my love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.’
