In the game Avowed, companions are fellow travelers who join your party to aid you on your journey through the Living Lands. However, players won’t encounter all companions at once; instead, they must finish specific missions to unveil and gain access to each companion.

In the game ‘Avowed’, there are a total of four comrades you can team up with. However, at a time, you can only select two to join you during your expeditions. You can encounter these allies at any camp location where the Envoy has the ability to converse with them, or switch companions for a new adventure.

Marius, a masterful Ranger, is proficient in both long-range assaults and stealth tactics. Additionally, he employs the mystical power of flora to immobilize opponents on the spot. His exceptional tracking skills enable him to mark useful resources for players during their expeditions.

How To Unlock Giatta As A Companion In Avowed

In your journey, Giatta isn’t encountered until you reach the second region, which follows Dawnshore – the Emerald Stair. Upon entering Fior mes Iverno, the Envoy will be acquainted with Giatta. Once you assist her in a few assignments related to the main quest “The Animancy Method”, she becomes part of your team.

As an Animancer, Giatta is a wizard with expertise in protective shields, healing, and enhancing team abilities. Her skills can significantly shift the outcome of battles, becoming even more powerful when leveled up. Additionally, as an Animancer, Giatta can discharge a Spectral Jolt to activate Essence Generators, unlocking previously unexplored areas.

As a gamer, I first come across Giatta when I step foot in Emerald Stair, but it isn’t until deep into my journey that Yatzli becomes part of the team. Yatzli eventually joins my party as a companion during the “Face Your Fears” main quest in Thirdborn, Shatterscarp.

As a Wizard, Yatzli is equipped with numerous surprises. She’s capable of launching potent attacks that freeze and immobilize foes. In addition, she can conjure up a massive, explosive magic orb that obliterates clusters of enemies simultaneously. Moreover, adventurers can advantage themselves while navigating as Yatzli has the ability to dispel illusions, uncovering hidden treasures or revealing secret paths.
