How to Repair Bell of Demoncalm in Where Winds Meet

The Bell of Demoncalm is a strong item in the game Where Winds Meet that makes difficult bosses easier to defeat, even if you’re not at the recommended level. To use this ancient bell, found in Qinghe’s Peace Bell Tower on Moonveil Mountain, players need to complete several stages of the Melodies of Peace questline.

If you’re unsure about the recent global buff or how to fix the Bell of Demoncalm, we’ve created a simple guide. It shows you exactly where to find the necessary materials and how to get to the Bell Tower safely.

Where To Find Bell of Demoncalm

The Bell of Demoncalm can be found atop Moonveil Mountain, inside an old Bell Tower that was damaged in a fight between two strong warriors. When a player climbs the tower and rings the bell, it activates a global buff that makes all World Bosses in the Qinghe Region weaker, reducing their defense and the amount of damage they deal.

To get to the tower, go south from Blissful Retreat and follow the slope upwards until you reach an enemy camp with Aureate Brigands. Defeat the brigands, then continue up the road. This road will lead you to a Waystone (teleporter) and eventually to the tower. Once you arrive, speak with the bellwright at the entrance, and he’ll explain that the tower was recently damaged in a fight between two martial artists.

To proceed with repairing the Bell Tower (this optional task), see the instructions below. It’s best not to try climbing it yet, as you’ll only be able to access a limited number of items and areas until the Bell is fixed.

To reach the top of the tower, head back to the entrance and find the scaffolding on the left. Climb up the scaffolding, then go through the hole in the wall and up the stairs. Exit through the broken window and look up for a grapple point. Remember to press ‘G’ to climb!

Once you’re on the roof, turn right and follow the wooden plank bridges. Climb the stairs, then exit through the window. Look for a cloth to use, and then grapple again by pressing G.

Go inside the tower through the entrance to find the Bell of Demoncalm. If you haven’t found the Bronze Bell Fragment yet, you won’t be able to progress. The next section explains how to get this fragment and repair the bell, which will make World Boss Battles easier.

How To Repair Bell of Demoncalm in Where Winds Meet

As we discussed earlier, players need to get the Bronze Bell Fragment. You can buy it from Qi Sheng using the Melodies of Peace system. This system lets you trade collectibles—called Oddities—for things like improved stats, new unlocks, and, in this case, a special item needed for a quest.

To get the Bronze Bell Fragment, you first need to finish the quest “The Music of Yongping,” which is the last part of the “Melodies of Peace” questline. This requires completing all the Harmony nodes – essentially, finding all collectibles in the Qinghe Region. Once you’ve done that, go to Qi Sheng’s stall and interact with (press E on) the table to pick up the Bronze Bell Fragment.

After you get the Bronze Bell Fragment, head back to Moonveil Mountain – using the teleport near the Peace Bell Tower entrance is the fastest way. Talk to the bellwright again, then climb the tower and fix the bell. Ringing the bell weakens the World Bosses in the Qinghe Region, making them much easier to beat.
