How to recover FP in Elden Ring Nightreign
Mastering the art of rejuvenating your Focus Point (FP) is crucial when delving into Elden Ring Nightreign, since every Nightfarer relies on it for summoning spells, incantations, and executing a variety of combat techniques with weapons.
Keep in mind that this guidance derives from the Elden Ring Nightreign trial and will be revised once the complete game is released on May 30, 2025.
How to recover FP in Elden Ring Nightreign
Much like how HP (Hit Points) in Harry Potter can be replenished at your convenience through rest, consuming berries, and using Status Flasks, you can restore FP (Focus Points) in Elden Ring Nightreign by taking these simple steps:
1. Resting for a while
2. Gathering and eating some berries
3. Utilizing Focus Flasks when needed
- By consuming Starlight Shards.
- By equipping weapons featuring related effects —such as Taking DMG restores FP.
- By approaching and interacting with FP restoring branches.
- By equipping relics.
- By going near and interacting with Sites of Grace.
As the Recluse character, you can restore approximately 15% of your Focus Points (FP) through the use of Magic Cocktail, one of her abilities. Additionally, she has the power to let the entire team recuperate both Health Points (HP) and Focus Points (FP) after designating targets with her Soulblood Song Ultimate skill.
How to increase your FP in Nightreign
In Elden Ring Nightreign, you can increase your FP total through two methods: equipping relics and upgrading your character. Unlike previous mainline Souls games, you won’t have the option to split your stat points in this game. Instead, each character will receive a fixed boost to their stats as they level up. When searching for relic effects, remember that they will be influenced by random chance (RNG).
How to get Starlight Shards in Elden Ring Nightreign
Players of Elden Ring Nightreign have the option to gather Starlight Shards by destroying items scattered throughout the game world. Additionally, you can accumulate a significant amount of it by purchasing from various vendors. Just like in the original Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, the shards will be obtained using Runes as payment.
Since the Recluse is the Nightfarer who requires the most Focus Points (FP), it would be wise to always have a few shards on hand when using her. Additionally, ensure you’re also armed with a left-hand weapon for unexpected situations, and to add some non-Focus Point consuming damage to your overall build.
