How to Obliterate Enemies in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
The game “Wuchang: Fallen Feathers” requires players to familiarize themselves with a variety of terms for creating optimal builds. Benedictions provide various boosts, yet their activation depends on executing the correct actions during battle.
In the course of gameplay, you may come across a term called Obliterate Attacks that isn’t initially explained in tutorials. These powerful strikes can be effectively utilized against both common adversaries and bosses in virtually any encounter. Here is a strategy to amass and execute obliterate attacks, regardless of the enemy type:
1. Firstly, ensure you have the necessary abilities or skills that allow for Obliterate Attacks. These abilities are often acquired as your character progresses through the game.
2. Next, focus on improving these abilities by gaining experience points (XP) and leveling up your character. The higher your level, the more powerful your obliterate attacks will become.
3. In combat, look for opportunities to unleash your Obliterate Attacks. These moments usually occur when your ability gauge is filled. Be strategic in your attack choices, prioritizing situations where the enemy’s defenses are low or vulnerable.
4. When executing an obliterate attack, time it carefully to maximize its impact. Some enemies may have special defenses that can reduce the effectiveness of these attacks, so being attentive and adaptable is crucial.
5. Finally, keep in mind that mastering Obliterate Attacks takes practice, but with persistence and strategic planning, you’ll be dealing devastating blows in no time!
What Are Obliterate Attacks in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
In combat situations, when an adversary stumbles or falls to their knees, Wuchang executes a potent thrusting attack on them. During gameplay against most enemies, you’ll notice a small, filling white circle as you keep attacking. Once this circle is completely filled, the enemy collapses and becomes vulnerable for an Obliterate attack, which is signaled by a red slash icon appearing when you move close enough to activate it.
Despite being momentarily knocked back, you’ve got just a short span of time to swiftly move towards the adversary, positioning yourself either directly behind or in front of them. This will cause the enemy’s icon to change color to red, thereby activating the Obliterate attack.
How to Obliterate Enemies in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Destroying opponents hinges on timing, for if you fail to strike them within approximately fifteen seconds after a buildup, they can fully regenerate from any damage accumulation. Missing this window means they will completely heal from all Obliterate damage, regardless of how close they were to being fully damaged. Notably, even bosses are susceptible to Obliteration, but it typically occurs just once during a fight.
Regardless of the foe you’re facing, a swift strike is sufficient to maintain the Obliterate gauge at its maximum, compelling an aggressive playstyle with no respite for your adversary. Engaging in obliteration will also propel your enemy backward, leaving them momentarily defenseless and needing to restand before resuming combat. During this period, they become vulnerable, allowing you to either recover or inflict additional damage without risk.
Another way to perform an Obliterate attack on smaller or medium-sized foes is by approaching them undetected and delivering a powerful charged strike from behind. This will quickly fill up the obliterate gauge, putting you in a favorable position to execute the Obliterate move swiftly. This covert method won’t work on bosses, but it can make short work of tougher enemies that are hard to defeat.
