Just like other enhancement materials in Monster Hunter Wilds, Monster Fluid is obtained from specific Large and Small monsters, making it an indispensable resource for crafting and upgrades.
To help you effectively gather Monster Fluid, a crucial item needed for various upgrades early on in Monster Hunter Wilds, here are some top-tier farming spots and tips to optimize its collection and utilization within the game.
Where To Find Monster Fluid In Monster Hunter Wilds
Five monsters yield the valuable resource known as Monster Fluid. To start with, players should hunt down a monster called Lala Barina, who makes her debut in the main quest titled “A Stage of Rose and Thorn.” Lala Barina can be tracked down in either the Scarlet Forest or the Ruins of Wyveria, with the latter becoming accessible at a later point during the narrative. Important to note, only 18% chance of Monster Fluid dropping from this Large Monster. Among the smaller monsters, there are multiple viable targets for players to pursue.
- Bulaqchi: 30% chance to drop the Fluid, located in the Plains.
- Vespoid: 20% chance, located in the Forest, Basin, Cliffs, and Wyveria.
- Comaqchi: 30% chance, located in the Cliffs.
- Nerscylla Hatchlings: 100% chance upon carving them, located in the Cliffs.

If you’re looking to farm Monster Fluid, consider visiting Alma and taking on the Optional Quest titled “Buggin’ in the Desert” at the Quest Counter. In this quest, you will be tasked with defeating 12 Bulaqchi. Since each Bulaqchi has a 30% chance of dropping Monster Fluid, you could accumulate quite a bit by the time the mission is over. This quest is suitable for early-game farming as it only requires Hunter Rank 1 and doesn’t take much time to complete.
Once you’ve advanced through the primary narrative and arrived at the Iceshard Cliffs, you’ll encounter the monster Nerscylla during the main mission titled “The Stealthy, Cunning Assassin.” This formidable creature is accompanied by Nerscylla Hatchlings nearby. If you carve these hatchlings, they guarantee a 100% drop of Monster Fluid.
Alternatively, you could choose to repeat an optional mission for another battle with Nerscylla, or you might just visit locations 2, 4, and 5 within the Iceshard Cliffs to encounter some roaming around.
