How do you fix the lift at Shatterscarp in Avowed?

During your journey, whether it’s for the Fires in the Mine mission or just exploring Shatterscarp, there’s a good chance you’ll come across a malfunctioning elevator. Unfortunately, pulling the lever won’t solve the problem, so you’ll have to take a detour and repair it from its other side. To do this, navigate towards Deadfall Highlands first, then proceed to the Sulfur Mines Basecamp.

In your journey ahead, there might be some adversaries you’ll encounter, so make sure to bring along weapons and healing supplies for protection. Once you reach the bridge leading to the camp, you’ll need to employ electrical magic to energize the generator on the lift’s right side. You can either zap the Essence Generator directly using a grimoire or leverage Giatta’s Spectral Jolt for the task.

1. After powering up the generator, the elevator should now function, enabling you to engage with the lever. Descend to encounter a delightful conversation with NPCs nearby. I had anticipated it would initiate a quest or bonus, but there appears to be no connection once the dialogue concludes. Upon revisiting these characters, they remain in place, but this time, they express gratitude for your actions.

2. After energizing the generator, the lift becomes operational, permitting you to manipulate the lever. Make your way down to witness a charming exchange with NPCs below. I had assumed it would trigger a mission or bonus from them, but there seems to be no link after the conversation. Upon revisiting these characters, they’re still present, though now expressing thanks for your actions.
