How to Craft the Sakuratide Armor in MH Wilds

In the Monster Hunter Wilds game, the Blossomdance event offers several stylish armor pieces for players to gather, such as complete armor sets and fashionable eyewear. One of the highlighted sets from this event is the Sakuratide collection, which is ideal for those seeking a more relaxed appearance.

The Sakuratide Armor is a high-tier (Tier 5) outfit that not only boasts an appealing design, but also performs fairly well given its scarcity. It may not match up against the top-tier armor sets in the game, but for those still climbing the ladder, this armor set serves as a reliable choice. Here’s how you can obtain it.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Sakuratide Blossomdance Armor

The Sakuratide construction calls for just two resources: Carbalite Ore and Blossomdance Tickets (distinct from Blossomdance Vouchers). You can procure Carbalite Ore by excavating High Rank mineral deposits. When it comes to the Blossomdance Tickets, you have two avenues:

  • Claim Blossomdance Tickets from your Daily Login rewards
  • Claim the tickets as rewards for completing Limited Bounties while the Blossomdance Festival is active

Absolutely, as one crucial ingredient for the Sakuratide armor set is available exclusively during the Blossomdance event, players can craft this set for a specific, time-bound window. Once the event concludes, you’ll need to wait until next year’s Blossom Dance event starts before you can create it again.

I’m thrilled to share that only 5 Blossomdance Tickets are required to assemble the entire set, and remarkably, you can obtain all five in a single gaming session! The Limited Bounties might vary for each player, but for us, we managed to finish these tasks:

  • Hunt 4 High Rank Talioths
  • Hunt 1 Tempered Monster ranked 5-stars or higher
  • Complete 1 Event Quest
  • Complete 3 missions in the Plains
  • Complete all Bounties listed above

Bounties will reset according to the countdown timer in the View Limited Bounties menu.

Is the Sakuratide Set Any Good?

In case you’ve started playing High Rank and manage to get there while Blossomdance is active, the Sakuratide armor could be a versatile choice for various monsters. However, it’s worth noting that compared to popular sets like Zoh Shia or Gore Magala, it remains less effective.

Wearing the full suit of this armor set grants you the “Foray 5” ability, boosting your Attack power and enhancing Affinity against creatures afflicted with Poison or Paralysis by 20%. To maximize the benefit from this armor skill, craft a Lala Barina weapon and carry some Poison Smoke Bombs during your expedition. Equip your Palico with a weapon that inflicts either Poison or Paralysis for continuous effectiveness.

Other Sakuratide armor skills include:

  • Quick Sheath 3
  • Item Prolonger 3
  • Adaptability 2

Nevertheless, the Sakuratide collection is consistently outshone by the Ebony Odogaron set, boasting the Burst skill. Activating the former can be challenging, but the Ebony Odogaron set is simpler and has a higher uptime because it only requires players to strike monsters frequently.
