How To Start A Good Scrub Quest

Perhaps the path to your objective is already indicated on your map, but if not, converse with the innkeeper who bears a quest tipster symbol located on the east side of Kuttenberg City. Inquire about any recent developments and the mission icon should appear near The Hole in the Wall Tavern.

Enter the structure located west of Gunmaker Prokop Eldris’ shop, then engage in conversation with Betty. She manages the bathhouse and promptly requests your assistance. Therefore, make your way to Grund and retrieve a package on her behalf.

How To Help Betty

In Grund, I’d recommend seeking out Wagoner Matsek, usually found either outside the tavern or within if he’s not outside. He’s the chap with all the essential info about that package you’re after. Once you’ve had your chat with him, swing by the table where the ladies are gathered – they should be able to fill you in on any details you might have missed.

Following your conversation with them, let the girls take their seats in the cart. Once they’re settled, approach the cart again and continue talking. One of them might ask a rather significant question, so be prepared to ponder over it before responding. After you’ve finished conversing, the game will instantly transport you to the bathhouse.

In your return to the bathhouse, Betty will present you with a new proposition. Following your agreement to aid her, you’ll have an opportunity to speak on behalf of the bathhouse, dividing your speech into three key parts:

1. Beginning (Introduction): “Good day, dear friends! I hope this find’s you in good health and high spirits. Today, I’m excited to tell you about a special place that has brought joy and relaxation to many – our very own bathhouse.”

2. Middle (Body): “This isn’t just any bathhouse; it’s a sanctuary where we can unwind, rejuvenate, and connect with one another. From the soothing warmth of the hot springs to the invigorating steam rooms, our bathhouse offers an unparalleled experience that caters to both body and soul.”

3. End (Conclusion): “So, I invite you all to come and immerse yourselves in this tranquil haven we call home. Let the healing waters of our bathhouse wash away your worries and leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to face whatever life throws at us. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at the bathhouse soon!”

The following are the options we chose, so you can just select these:

  • “Like nothing you’ve ever experienced”
  • “Soothe your body and soul”
  • “Feasting, dancing, and singing”

Be certain to visit the four designated locations indicated on your map in daylight hours, as there’s little chance anyone could hear you otherwise. If night has fallen, either disregard the time for now or wait till dawn before proceeding.

After making your selections, please verify your speech. Subsequently, you’ll be given the mission to advertise the bathhouse at four distinct spots. The locations will be clearly indicated on your map; you’re not required to visit any location within the quest’s proximity specifically.

In each location, you’re not required to stay until Henry finishes his entire speech. Once he begins shouting (signaling the objective has been met), feel free to move on to another spot without delay. This will help save time.

Visiting any spot within a given range triggers an in-game prompt. To make Henry speak, simply press the L1/LB button whenever this happens. Do this at every location.

Tidying Up The Bathhouse

Once you’ve effectively publicized the bathhouse, head back to Betty now, and a scene will unfold. Not long after, there will be a celebration, but the consequences won’t be pleasant to see. Upon waking up later, you’ll find yourself assigned with the job of cleaning up the bathhouse since the council is waiting outside to inspect the premises.

Stay inside through the main entrance since Betty is speaking with the Alderman right outside. Leaving might cause the Alderman to head to the bathhouse for an inspection.

While you take care of organizing the bathhouse, Betty plans to buy some time. So, please quickly get dressed and first conceal our inebriated friends. Gently move each one, escort them upstairs, and gather them all inside the room located on your right.

After completion, it’s time to retrieve the tankards that are lying on the floor. You’ll find six of them, with four located in the very room where you awoke. The remaining two will be found in the room with bathtubs, so be sure to grab those as well. Additionally, there seem to be some clothes scattered around; go ahead and pick them up too.

In the room, which has bathtubs inside, there are four items of clothing scattered around. First, grab the one lying near the stairs. Afterward, clean the floor. You can spot something that needs your attention next to the central bathtub, which appears to be spilled vomit.

After completing all tasks, the Alderman will enter to check for any unusual activities. Once he’s done, exit with him and continue the discussion. This will earn Betty’s gratitude again, wrapping up the quest. Moreover, having completed this task, you now qualify for reduced services at this bathhouse. If you complete the subsequent mission, these services can be enjoyed free of charge.
