In Where Winds Meet, some characters you encounter are powered by AI chatbots. This means you can actually have conversations with them – you can ask them for items, get information, or even build friendships!

Most characters in the game can become your friends after a short conversation. However, some, like Fu Lushou, are easily upset and need a gentler approach. Here are some tips to help you befriend Fu Lushou.

Where To Find Fu Lushou

You can find Fu Lushou right outside the entrance to General’s Shrine in Qinghe during Si Hour. At all other times, he’s inside the small storage building to the right of the entrance, but he won’t be available to speak with you.

Change the time to Si Hour, then head outside the Shrine to find Fu Lushou.

How To Befriend Fu Lushou

You can become friends with Fu Lushou by chatting with him in an AI chatbot. Because the conversations feel natural and flow freely, there’s no single way to guarantee you’ll become his friend – it all depends on how the conversation goes.

If you talk about Fu Lushou’s dog, Fu Luwa – whom Fu Lushou considers like an older brother – he’ll likely become your friend immediately. We found that simply mentioning Fu Luwa worked wonders for us.

  • I’m friends with your brother, Fu Luwa.

Okay, so if things aren’t going well, I can totally reset the conversation and start over. The trick is, I just need to mention Fu Lushou’s dog brother – apparently, that almost always gets him to like me right away! It’s a weird thing, but it works!

If the character attacks you, we suggest simply leaving the game instead of trying to fight. This will allow you to quickly rejoin the conversation without waiting for the character to reappear.

After you become friends with Fu Lushou, he’ll regularly give you gifts, usually on weekends.
