Catherine O’Hara, known for her iconic roles in Home Alone and Schitt’s Creek, has died at 71. According to her manager, she passed away peacefully at her Los Angeles home on Friday morning after a short illness.
The incredibly popular performer received numerous awards and was famous for songs like “The Studio” and the soundtrack to “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” They also appeared in several Christopher Guest comedies, including “Best in Show,” “A Mighty Wind,” and “For Your Consideration.”
She was an extremely acclaimed performer, having won two Golden Globe awards and one Emmy.
