Holly Willoughby turned heads with her stunning look at the extravagant Studio 54-themed birthday party for her sister Kelly’s husband, David Foster, on Sunday.
The 45-year-old TV star celebrated her father’s 50th birthday with her mother, 78, and sister, 47, and the group looked like a glamorous disco ensemble.
Holly visited Sussex and turned heads in a short, pink, feathered dress. She completed the look with tall black platform shoes.
The glamorous woman styled her long blonde hair into soft waves and got ready to enjoy the party with heart-shaped sunglasses and sparkling face paint.
Linda, the mum, looked stunning in a red feathered mini dress, and Kelly turned heads in a shimmering silver sequin outfit.
Holly shared several photos from the sunny garden party on Instagram, including a peek at her dad Brian’s mustache, which he grew just for the event.
She shared a post celebrating her brother-in-law Dave’s 50th birthday, calling the party a Studio 54-themed event. She wished Dave a happy birthday and sent him lots of love. She also gave a ‘best dressed’ award to her mother and a special shout-out to her dad for briefly reviving his famous mustache for the occasion!
Okay, seriously, @ladywilloughby, you NEED a fringe! It would look amazing on you. And that party looked incredible – so lovely to see you surrounded by all your friends and family. Honestly, it looked like the perfect night!
I’m so excited for Holly! It’s amazing to see her launching a new online show after deciding to move away from traditional TV with ITV. She’s really diving into the digital world, and I can’t wait to see what she does with it!
Katie Hind of the Daily Mail reported that the 45-year-old broadcaster is working on a new project she’ll both produce and present. Her husband Dan Baldwin’s company, known for shows like Gladiators and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, is helping with production. You can find the complete article here.
The new show is reportedly titled “Together.” In paperwork filed with the Intellectual Property Office, Holly Willoughby indicated the series will also feature merchandise, similar to the lifestyle and fashion segments she hosted on “This Morning” for 16 years.
I’ve been noticing Holly building a really lovely online presence lately! She’s been sharing some fantastic fashion and cooking content on Instagram, and it feels like she’s been gearing up for something bigger – her new series, which I’m really excited about!
According to an expert, the diverse range of topics strongly reinforces the central idea of ‘togetherness’ that she is intentionally promoting.
The title will likely make it feel like viewers are seeing Holly again after a long time away.
They told The Sun: ‘She was in our living rooms almost constantly for 16 years’.
Daily Mail have contacted Holly’s representatives for comment.
A friend told the Daily Mail that after 25 years in television, Holly is now eager to create her own project.
Daytime TV is losing popularity, and it’s time for a fresh approach. She’s thrilled about this new and innovative idea, and she’s hopeful it will be successful.
The way people watch TV has really evolved. Now, many are getting their entertainment from TikTok and other online sources.
You know, I’ve been working with Holly, and she’s really at a turning point. She’s finally found something she’s passionate about that feels like a solid long-term path – a welcome change from projects she’s taken on previously. It’s exciting to see her building something with real potential!
Holly is so committed to a fresh start that she declined to host ITV’s You Bet! again, even though she’d done two special episodes with Stephen Mulhern earlier in 2024. The show has now been cancelled.
Holly had worked on ‘You Bet!’ as one of her first projects after leaving the ‘This Morning’ show in October 2023. This followed a difficult period where she had been targeted by Gavin Plumb, a former security guard who was convicted the previous summer of planning to kidnap, assault, and kill her.
This disturbing incident happened shortly after a falling out with her colleague and friend, Phillip Schofield.
Besides her role on You Bet!, Holly also hosted Dancing On Ice, which hasn’t been renewed for another season as of last year.
She also presented Bear Hunt, which was cancelled by Netflix after just one season.
Let me tell you, from what I understand, she’s still on good terms with ITV, but she’s definitely moved on from doing shows with them. And as of right now, she has no plans to return. She’s clearly focusing on new opportunities, and I respect that!
She was asked to host ‘You Bet,’ but she turned it down. She’s had other offers as well – chances to resume her career after the difficult experience she had with Gavin Plumb.
Holly had a thought, and she felt like now or never to try it out. It was a gamble, but she was craving something different in her life.
She’s not just going to be on camera – she’ll also be directing, which is fantastic news!
